Marketers ban Mercy Johnson for being too Expensive


                          
Yeah you read right, Nollwood marketers have banned actress Mercy Johnson Okojie for being too expensive. Doesn't make sense does it? If someone's fees is too high, the sensible thing to do would be to boycott them and use less expensive actresses. Leave her to those who can afford her na, abi? 

Tragic news: Bride-to-be commits suicide before her wedding in Benue

     

The residents of Usar community in Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State were left in shock yesterday after a woman, who preparing to get married, allegedly took her own life. Joy Ngufan Iorzaa was preparing to marry her fiance, Aondover Auva Shande and preparations were underway until they were cut short by her death.

Court Of Appeal Sacks 2 Senators, 8 House Of Rep. Members

The Court of Appeal in Abuja on Friday fired two Senators and eight House of Representatives members from Katsina state, who got their seats after their initial occupants were sacked by the Independent National Electoral Commission December 2011. The court ordered that those sacked by INEC be reinstated. see list of names after the cut.....

PRISON BREAK!! Man escapes from Lagos prison, steals 20 cars!!

                     

The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended a 32-year-old convict, Kingsley Chibuzor, for snatching over 20 cars between 2011 and 2013. Chibuzor, was said to have escaped few months into his sentence from the Kirikiri Medium Prison in 2011, where he was serving a term for malicious damage.

NOT AGAIN!! 53 Nigerians Arrested in India Over Wild Protest!


Fifty three Nigerians were detained today after a mob of about 200 of them blocked a National Highway over the death of a fellow national, prompting the Goa government to announce a major crack-down on foreign nationals living in the state without proper documents.
