Chaos in Ekiti over assassination of NURTW chairman


Thugs are said to be causing rampage in Ekiti after the assassination of  former chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Ekiti State, Mr. Omolafe Aderiye .

They are said to be rampaging APC offices including the party's state secretariat .The outgoing governor  Kayode Fayemi's  situation office has also been reportedly burnt .

Ex-NURTW Chairman shot dead hours after allegedly beating Ekiti Judge


The former chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Ekiti State, Mr. Omolafe Aderiye has been shot dead.Residents told SaharaReporters late evening that Aderiye was killed by unknown gunmen at Ijigbo area in Ado Ekiti.

Mr. Aderiye was on his way home when the gunmen numbering about four accosted and shot him at close range.Mr. Aderiye, a staunch supporter of Governor-elect, Ayodele Fayose was part of Mr. Fayose’s team that attacked a state high court judge earlier in the day. The alleged thugs attacked Justice John Adeyeye, beating him up and ripping his clothes for being allegedly rude to Fayose. Fayose, first slapped the judge and then ordered his thugs to beat him further

Woman arrested after burying own baby alive in Akwa Ibom



The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested a woman, Ms Patience Aaron, for attempting to kill her new born baby girl.Punch reports that Aaron, an indigene of Afaha Abia village, in the Nsit Ibom Local Government Area of the state, on September 14, buried her one-day baby alive.

TB Joshua Lied to Us-Family of Deceased Zimbabwean woman

A Zimbabwean woman Catherine Ndlovu, who allegedly paid thousands of dollars to visit Nigeria, seeking divine intervention for her hospitalized daughter has been reported as one of the  115 people confirmed to have died after the collapse of Synagogue lodging building.

She left Zimbabwe on September 11, a day after her 19 year-old daughter, Prioress Tshuma, who had suffered from seizures since 2007, was admitted in a Hospital. Believing the seizures were caused by an evil spirit,she came to seek divine intervention from TB Joshua .Hours ours after her arrival in Lagos,she died leaving behind her daughter and a son.
