Though the year still has weeks to go, the folks at Microsoft’s Bing search engine are ready to call it in favor of reality tv star, Kim Kardashian. Bing announced that, the most searched person alive in 2014 is Kim Kardashian beating Beyonce who topped the list last year. I don't think we are surprised.

A suspected armed robber, arrested by the police in Lagos, has claimed that his family members were responsible for his inability to stop the act. Punch Metro learnt that the suspect, 28-year-old Emehelu Ndubuisi, was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command on Wednesday, November 19 in the Oshodi area of Lagos.

Ndubuisi, who is married with a child, said he was still standing trial for a robbery case at the Ikeja Magistrates’ Court when he was re-arrested for another robbery.He said,

Suspect !!! I smuggled drugs to send my children to school

A suspected smuggler arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency attached to the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, has told investigators that he took to drug trafficking to send his children to school.

Punch reports that the 48-year-old suspect, Chukwuenyem Obi, was apprehended alongside a mother of seven, Ifeoma Ezeano and two others – Gilbert Kelvin and Michael Okafor– with narcotics weighing 41.6 kilogrammes.The NDLEA said the street value of the drugs was N374.6m.

South Africa-based Chukwuenyem said he smuggled the drug to raise funds for his three children, who had dropped out from school.He said,
