Dangote------I still hope to buy Arsenal at the right price


Africa’s richest man, and die-hard Arsenal fan, Aliko Dangote, said he still wants to buy the English Premier League soccer team even after he was rebuffed by its owners in 2010.

Dangote who is worth $15.7 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, was in talks to buy a stake in the club five years ago before the deal didn't pull through. The 58 year old,said in an interview as he traveled on a plane on May 1.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge emerged on the steps outside the Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital shortly after 6pm this evening, where the world was given a brief glimpse of the new princess, whose name is yet to be announced. The newest royal, who appeared wrapped tightly in a white blanket, was born at 8.34am today weighing 8lbs and 3oz, less than three hours after the Duchess was admitted to hospital. 

President Jonathan's Aide Oronto Douglas finally laid to rest in Bayelsa State


President Jonathan was at the funeral service of his late aide, Oronto Douglas, who died after a battle with cancer. He was laid to rest in Yenagoa , Bayelsa state. Pictured beside the president are his wife Mrs Tarinabo Douglas, and kids..

RIP...Dave Goldberg, husband of Facebook COO, Sheryl Sandberg, dies!



Sheryl Sandberg is the Chief Operating Officer of Facebook. Dave Goldberg, is her husband and father of her children. He was the CEO of SurveyMonkey, a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and venture capitalist. He died suddenly Friday night, according to a Facebook post from his brother. He was 47.

Dave's company SurveyMonkey said in a statement today:
"We are deeply saddened to announce that Dave Goldberg passed away suddenly last night. Dave's genius, courage and leadership were overshadowed only by his compassion, friendship and heart. His greatest love was for his family. Our sympathy goes out to them and to all who were touched by this extraordinary man. We are all heartbroken."

A serious fight happened at Abuja Airport last night after Aero Contractors canceled a flight



Pandemonium at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport Abuja Last night after Aero Contractors canceled a flight from Abuja to Lagos after a 3-hour delay. The flight was slated for 6pm this evening, but Aero contractors canceled it at 9:05pm. Immediately passengers heard the news, they mobbed airline staff, destroyed their printers and other properties. Aero staff, including luggage attendants ran for their dear lives.

Passengers say they are now stranded at the airport...that the airline didn't put them in a hotel or even give them a refund. Above is a photo from the scene. And that's blood. See more photos after the cut
