Meet the sheep thief who was captured by the community he stole from.. tied and beaten.


Villagers beat sheep thief, post photos online...The furious locals put Luis Salvador Rodriguez, 20, on trial and found him guilty of stealing their sheep.After dragging him outside, locals tied him up, stripped off his top and took it in turns to whip him with a piece of birch as others formed a circle around him and watched. They then posted the photos online. A local jury was organised after 80 sheep disappeared from villages in the Banos del Inca district of south Peru.

UNILAG students protest this morning, block school gate


Imagine, students living on campus and they don't have access to power supply and water. How are they expected to read overnight??? Especially in darkness and heat condition. The students of University of Lagos are protesting this morning at their school. They say they haven't had light for a while, amongst others complaints.

The 4 men who beat an Afghan woman to death sentenced to death


This is what we call an Eye for Eye kinda of justice.....Remember the Afghan woman, Farkhunda, who was beaten to death by a brutal mob after being falsely accused of burning a Koran? An Afghan court this morning Wednesday May 6th convicted and sentenced four men to death for their role in her death.

The sentences were part of a trial of 49 suspects, including 19 police officers, over the March 19 killing of 27-year-old woman named Farkhunda who was beaten to death in a frenzied attack sparked by a bogus accusation that she had burned a copy of the Quran.

LASG--No Going Back On Planned Relocation Of Computer Village, Mile 12 Market

                     

The Lagos State Government has said there is no going back on the state’s planned relocation of Computer Village and the popular Mile 12 market. According to the State’s commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Toyin Ayinde, it was necessary in other to decongest traffic on the roads leading to these overcrowded places.
