PDP chairman Adamu Mu'azu currently undergoing treatment abroad

The National Chairman of the PDP, Dr. Ahmadu Adamu Mu'azu is currently undergoing medical attention abroad and will return to the country as soon as his doctors are satisfied with his medical condition. He left the country last week and hopes to be back soon.
The leader of the party, President Jonathan, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the party Chief Tony Anenih and Senate President Senator David Mark and members of the National Working Committee of the party are all aware of the Chairman's medical trip abroad.

Brain-dead woman who was kept alive for 54 days delivers baby boy

                                 

Doctors in Nebraska prolonged the life of a brain dead woman for 54 days so she could deliver a baby boy named Angel. Karla Perez, 22, died two days after the delivery, the Washington Post reported late Friday. Angel weighed just 2 pounds, 12.6 ounces at birth. The last time a brain-dead woman in the U.S. delivered a baby was 1999, the paper said.
Baby Angel was delivered earlier last month at Methodist Health System in Omaha.

The hospital said a team of more than 100 doctors, nurses and staff kept Angel's 22-year-old mother Karla Perez alive for 54 days -- just long enough to deliver the baby via cesarean section.

Weeks after a devastating quake killed more than 8,000 people and destroyed hundreds of thousands of homes,another strong earthquake shook Nepal on Tuesday, sending people in the capital Kathmandu rushing out on to the streets , eyewitnesses said.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake had a magnitude of 7.1 and struck 68 km west of the town of Namche Bazar, close to Mount Everest.
"This is a really big one," said Prakash Shilpakar, the owner of a handicrafts shop in Kathmandu who was trying to call his parents in the town of Bhaktapur, devastated in the April 25 quake.

Selfie-obsessed girl dies after climbing on top of a train to take a selfie. Anna Ursu, 18, and a friend went to a train station in the town of Iasi in the northeast of the country to take a 'special selfie' that she intended to post on Facebook.

But as she lay on top of the train and stuck one of her legs in the air, an electrical field surrounding the overhead cables sent 27,000 volts zapping through her body, causing her to burst into flames.

The charge that hit Miss Ursu was so powerful that it caused her 17-year-old friend to be sent flying off the roof of the stationary train.


Woman Buys Twins For N1.9m

                            

The police in Lagos State, western Nigeria, have arrested a 52-year old woman identified as Mrs. Olamide Bello for allegedly buying twin babies for N1.9 million.

According to, the suspect who resides at Adeniji Street, Meiran, a suburb of Lagos State, with her husband and step-children, told her husband, Mr. Wasiu Bello, that she was pregnant and that she has been instructed to go and deliver of the baby in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital in southern Nigeria.

American Idol cancelled as 15th season to be it's last.....


After struggling with ratings, the network announced Monday that 'American Idol' will go off the air after its 15th and final season next year. The cast from the past few seasons, with Ryan Seacrest as host and Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. as judges, will return for a season-long celebration of the show's history.
