#Clean-house !!! PDP expels Ararume, 19 others for alleged anti-party activities in Imo

The Imo State Chapter of the PDP has expelled Senator Ifeanyi Ararume and 19 others from the party over alleged anti-party activities during and after the 2015 general elections. In a statement signed by state party chairman, Chief Nnamdi Anyaehie, the party said after a full scaled investigation carried out, the expelled members were found guilty and expelled accordingly.

"After a full and exhaustive deliberation on the reports of the activities of the underlisted persons against the interest of our great party in the just-concluded general elections whose actions openly evidenced gross anti-party activities, the state executive committee at its meeting of Monday, May 24, 2015 accepts the report and recommendations and accordingly expels the under-listed from the party.” the statement read

Tamuno Nelson allegedly murdered by Ogoni youth in PH yesterday

A young man named Tamuno Nelson Yudes was reportedly attacked with a machete and killed by Ogoni youth while he was passing through Eteo in Port Harcourt yesterday May 25th. APC National leader, Bola Tinubu receives Guinea President in Lagos

Tinubu, earlier today received the President of Guinea, Alpha Condé at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja Lagos. The Guinean President is in Nigeria on a 5-day working visit. As part of his visit, President Condé will be meeting with Nigerian businessmen and women with the view of luring some investments to his country. He will also be attending the inauguration ceremony on Friday May 29th.

Resident in ojuelegba accuse woman of trying to abduct 7-yr old girl

                                    

A woman accused of being a kidnapper has been arrested by residents of Qadri Close in the Ojuelegba area of Lagos. The suspect was allegedly nabbed with a seven-year-old girl, identified only as Khadijat. The suspected abductor, Mrs. Grace Uduak, said to be in her 30s, had reportedly lured the girl with puff puff around 10am and was about to leave the neighbourhood when she was rounded up.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the suspect called Khadijat, who was in her parents’ house, and gave her the puff puff. She was said to have told the little girl to follow her. A resident, Joseph Adebiyi, said Uduak initially whispered into Khadijat’s ears after which she gave her the snack. He said when residents of the area confronted the suspect, she told them she was pressed and wanted the girl to lead her to a toilet in the area.
