Congratulations!!! A female president emerges in Mauritius
World-renowned scientist and biologist Ameenah Gurib-Fakim is the new Mauritius President. She will be the first female president of the island, which gained independence from Britain in 1968 after parliament votes on her appointment tomorrow

- Femi Adeshina, the MD of Sun newspaper has been appointed Special Adviser to the President, Media and Publicity while....
- Shehu Garba, who was until now the Director of Buhari Media Organization, is now Senior Special Assistant (Media & Publicity).

A Tanker laden with fuel which was coming from Awka and moving towards Asaba failed brake at the ever busy Asaba Park at Upper Iweka, Onitsha and exploded upon crashing into the park, burning more than 20 people beyond recognition and also burning 10 commercial buses parked at the park. Most of the dead bodies have been deposited at the Toronto Hospital Morgue by FRSC Officials. See the photos after the cut but please be warned, it's Terrifying ...
