Sad!!! Nigerian defender David Oniya dies during football match in Malaysia


A Nigerian defender has died, three minutes into a football match in Malaysia.30 yar old David Faramola Oniya died on Saturday after collapsing on the pitch during a friendly match between his Malaysian club T-Team and Kelantan. He was 30.

According to Local media ,he collapsed three minutes into the match in Kota Bharu and was taken to hospital.T-Team CEO Syahrizan Mohd Zain said Oniya did not receive medical treatment quick enough.

One of the convicts, Deborah Okafor, a 30-year-old professional dancer, was charged with conspiracy, trafficking and unlawful possession of 3.450kg of amphetamine, while the other, Iheme Onyemauchechukwu, was charged with trafficking and unlawful importation of 9.975kg of heroin. They were both arrested at the Enugu airport.

A statement by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency said Okafor would have been paid the sum of $3,500 if she successfully made her trip to Malaysia.

Abiola Family Begs Federal Government To Come To Their Aide...We Are Suffering,

Alhaji Muri Abiola, senior brother of the late business mogul, Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola has appealed to the federal government to compensate the family having been treated badly after the death of the family breadwinner in July 1998.

Alhaji Abiola called on Governor Ibikunle Amosun to assist them in using his good offices to plead with President Muhammed Buhari to support the family as the exit of the breadwinner has created a lot of hardship into the family.
