A 40-year-old mother of two, identified as Seyi Adewumi, has reportedly committed suicide in Akure, Ondo State capital.Her body was found in an uncompleted building beside her house at Olu Foam area of Akure metropolis. Vanguard reports that,hundreds of people trooped to the deceased’s residence when the news spread. Speaking with newsmen, her husband, Gbenga Adewunmi, expressed shock over the ugly incident.

Uncle caught trying to sell his Albino niece to a witch doctor
This little albino girl's uncle tried to sell her to a witch doctor for thousands of dollars so she could be hacked to death and her body parts used to make a potion to bring the rich and powerful luck. Margareth Khamis was snatched from the home she shares with her mother and three siblings in northern Tanzania by a masked gang in the middle of the night last week.
Mailonline reports that ,the kidnapping sparked a frantic search by the villagers, who tried to follow the gang through the bush without luck.An entire albino body has been known to fetch £50,000 ($75,000) on the black market.
Indian Mother and Father reject their 2 week-old baby
A two-week old baby girl born covered in wrinkles is struggling to survive after her parents rejected her because of her rare skin condition. The tiny tot, who hasn't even been named yet, is being looked after by her granddad who fed her with goats milk from a spoon for two weeks before he could get her to a hospital in Maharashtra, western India.
Her mum, 25-year-old Mamata Dode, is said to have refused to feed the youngster because of her strange looks and hasn't visited her in hospital.Even her father, Ajay Dode, also 25, has refused to accept her

Chadian government bans use of full-face veil after Boko Haram multiple bomb blasts
Chadian government has banned the use of full-face Muslim veil throughout the country following Monday's twin bomb blast that killed 27 people at the country's police headquarter.
Announcing the ban while speaking to religious leaders yesterday June 17th, the Chadian Prime Minister, Kalzeube Pahimi Deubet, said the government has ordered security forces to seize Burqas from markets and burn them immediately.
"Wearing the burqa must stop immediately from today, not only in public places and schools but throughout the whole of the country,"he said
