A Beach hotel in Tunisia attacked by terrorists, at least 27 tourists killed


This terrorist attack is still underway in Tunisia. At least 27 tourists have been killed and many others are running for their lives in Hotel Riu Imperial Marhaba, a 5-star beach front hotel in Sousse town in Tunisia as gunmen suspected to be Islamic militias stormed the hotel and started shooting at people.

Foreign tourists who were relaxing on the El Mouradi Palm Marina near the hotel were first targeted and killed before gunmen stormed the nearby hotel which is in a quiet remote beach.

Police in Tunisia is currently engaging the gunmen in a fierce gun battle. Just one gunman has so far been killed. Many bodies are said to be lying on the beach. Most of the people killed are believed to be foreigners as the hotel is said to be popular amongst European holiday makers.

Father sentenced to 8 years for breaking his 4-month-old daughter's arms, legs and ribs

                              


A Connecticut man convicted of breaking baby daughter's limbs was sentenced to eight years in prison on Wednesday June 24th, and ordered to take anger management classes and undergo a complete mental evaluation.

"You are either evil and a monster or very, very ill,” the trial judge Maria Kahn told the man, Morice Wilkerson, 26, during a hearing in Superior Court in Bridgeport. Wilkerson broke down in tears as he was removed from the courtroom, and relatives also wailed and sobbed.

Wilkerson was convicted last month of third degree assault & risk of injury to a minor, after bringing the infant to a hospital in 2012 with all four limbs and two ribs broken.

 The husband, father, uncle and grandfather who celebrated his birthday last Friday in Abuja has said he does not know his real age. He said when he heard people saying he was 64 last Friday, he was surprised and wondered how they came about it. According to him, he feels 35 years younger than that age physically, but in his mind he feels he is 87. Here's what he said;

Ikechukwu Offor has been arrested and charged for Beating up His 71-Year Old Mother



A 40-year old man, Ikechukwu Offor has been arrested and charged before Magistrate’s Court, Ejigbo, for allegedly beating up his 71-year-old mother, Justina Offor, over his missing phone. The Abia State-born Ikechukwu lost his phone after being heavily drunk and returned home to accuse his mother of misplacing the phone.

Before Justina could respond to the accusation, he allegedly grabbed her and rained blows on her. He further took a wall mirror and smashed it on his mother’s head. The elder sister, Ijeoma Offor, was not also spared as she attempted to rescue their mother. She was severely battered by Ikechukwu during the assault on Justina.

Mother and child rescued alive 4 days after plane crash in the jungle

                       

Miracle: A mother and her infant son who disappeared in a plane crash in the dense jungles of northwestern Colombia for several days ago were found alive and well in what authorities called a miracle.

Nelly Murillo, 18, and her son Yudier Moreno, not yet one year old, were discovered near the site where the Cessna 303 crashed on Saturday June 20th in thick brush. They were found four days later.
"It’s a miracle. It is a very wild area and it was a catastrophic accident,” said Colonel Hector Carrascal, commander of the Colombian Air Force in Antioquia department.

A DELSU student commits suicide after being jilted by lover of 7 years

                                                 

Suicide is never the solution....A female student of Delta State University, Abraka, Evelyn Mogekwe, aged 26, allegedly jilted by her partner of seven years, committed suicide.

Sources said she was in a very good and cheerful mood in her hostel but her mood changed dramatically after man called her over the phone to end their long term relationship.She was said to have bought some drugs, claiming she was having a headache and went into her room, leaving a message for her room mate that they might not see her again.
