The Nigeria Football Federation confirms Sunday Oliseh as Super Eagles Coach

NFF has confirmed that former Nigeria international Sunday Oliseh will coach the Super Eagles with a team that will include a Dutch as an assistant.

A manager close to Oliseh in Europe, who has full knowledge of the talks between the NFF and Oliseh in London, confirmed to The PUNCH on Wednesday that the former Eagles captain had accepted the job offer and would work with an assistant from Europe.

He said,

 “I can confirm that Sunny (Oliseh) has accepted the offer and he will be working with an assistant coming down from Europe as well.”
 Oliseh met with NFF president Amaju Pinnick and Austin Jay Jay Okocha in London on Tuesday.

Federal Government orders Fake Doctor to refund 9 year wages

The fake doctor who has been working for 9 years by impersonating his friend will pay back all the wages earned over that period . Martins Ugwu Okpeh,  worked with the Federal Ministry of Health as a Senior Medical Officer II on Grade Level 13 for over nine years.

Ugwu, working since 2006 in the Ministry of Health stole the license from his friend, Dr. George Davidson Daniel,when he acted as the latter's best man in 2006. The real Dr.George is undergoing Residency Training programe in Jos.

The fake doctor rose to become the chairman of a branch of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA).The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Mr. Linus Awute, said the Federal government has ordered the Ministry of Health to compute all salaries and allowances he earned for full retrieval..He said

#SayNoToDrugTrafficking.... Nigerian man sentenced to life in prison for drug trafficking in Indonesia

An Indonesian court on Monday July 6th sentenced 33 year old Nigerian man Uzoma Elele Alpha (pictured above) to life imprisonment for possessing banned substances - methamphetamine and marijuana - worth an estimated $451,400.

Uzoma was arrested at his apartment at the Margonda Residence tower in Depok in December 2014 during a raid by authorities from the immigration office. The banned substance was found in his home after a search was conducted. Uzoma was discovered to also be living in the country illegally.
