The kids at footballer Emmanuel Adebayor’s foundation home recently stretched out their hands and prayed for him when he paid them a visit. The footballer has been the one responsible for their housing, feeding, clothing, in fact everything that has to do with them except life and God’s protection.

Meet the Man Arrested With 47 Kegs Of Petrol In Lagos

                                 


The Ojodu Local Council Development Area of Lagos State today apprehended a middle-aged man in Ogba, Innocent Nwevo, with 47 kegs of  (PMS) otherwise known as Petrol. The team who went to arrest him acted on a tip off that a tenant in a shop opposite Sunday Retail Market, Ogba, was stockpiling and engaging in illegal sales of petroleum product in the area.

North Korea Confirms Executing Its Defence Chief Over Argument With President

North Korean military chiefs have confirmed that they brutally executed the country's defence chief using a massive anti-aircraft gun at close range. Seoul's National Intelligence Service told lawmakers that People's Armed Forces Minister Hyon Yong Chol was killed by anti-aircraft gunfire in May on charges of disloyalty to leader Kim Jong Un.

It is understood that the 66-year-old defense chief had talked back to Kim during a gathering of top ranking officials, openly complained about the dictator's policies and fell asleep during meetings.

US Extradites Six Nigerians To Mississippi From South Africa Over Scam Charges



 The US Department of Justice has successfully extradited six Nigerians from South Africa to face charges of running a series of scams against gullible Americans over the past 14 years.

The six men, along with 14 other defendants resident in the US, face trial in Gulfport, Mississippi on nine federal charges, including conspiracy to commit identity theft, wire fraud, bank fraud, theft of US government funds, and conspiracy to commit money laundering.


Meet the Father who allegedly tossed infant son off Connecticut bridge charged with murder


A man whose infant son was found dead in the Connecticut River admitted tossing the boy from a bridge before jumping into the water below, police said. Tony Moreno was charged with murder in the death of 7-month-old Aaden Moreno.

Moreno exchanged angry text messages with the infant's increasingly frantic mother in the minutes before he jumped Sunday near midnight, according to court filings. "Enjoy your new life without us," Moreno wrote before texting, "He's dead."

Moreno, 21, was arraigned at Hartford Hospital, where he was treated after firefighters rescued him. His bail was set at $2 million. Moreno's public defender did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
