The Director General of NAFDAC, Paul Orhi in EFCC's Custody

                          

The Director-General of the National Agency for Food, Drugs Administration And Control, NAFDAC, Dr. Paul Orhi, has been summoned by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over allegations bordering on abuse of office.

According to Vanguard, Dr. Orhi is currently being questioned by a crack team of detectives for allegedly awarding huge contracts to companies in which he has interests.

A 25-year-old mom allegedly murdered her own father and her daughter

                           

Woman kills her father and 6yr old daughter then hides their bodies.....A 25-year-old mom allegedly murdered her own father and her daughter, hid their remains in a neighbor's shed, then made up a story about them running off to Georgia. Cheyanne Jessie killed her 50-year-old father Mark Weekly and her 6-year-old daughter Meredith, then waited more than a week before reporting them missing, detectives say. The pair's remains were found in plastic boxes on a neighbor's property in Lakeland, Florida, late Saturday night, some 200 yards from Weekly's home.

Investigators claim she killed Meredith because she was getting in the way of her relationship with a new boyfriend. It is not clear why she would have killed her father as well. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said the bodies were found after officers smelled the stench of death. Both were said to have stab wounds and gunshot wounds.

Family finds missing 26 year old lady inside well. Morufa Alagbala, who got missing for two days, has been found inside a well in the Omitoro, Ijede area of Ikorodu, Lagos State. PUNCH Metro learnt that the family had reported Morufa missing last week’s Tuesday at the Igbogbo Police Division, when her whereabouts were not known.On Thursday that she was, however, discovered dead when some plumbers came to work inside the well in the house. When our correspondent visited Babatunde Aina Street, where the family lived, the deceased’s elder sister, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said although Morufa had a history of mental illness, her death was shocking. She added that although the deceased had wandered from home in the past, she usually returned after some hours.

Former adviser to former president Jonathan on Amnesty programme, Kingley Kuku today released photos of himself at the St. Andrew Hospital, Birmingham, Alabama where he is recuperating after a knee surgery. Kuku was to appear before EFCC on July 28th to answer questions bordering on misappropriation of funds but had immediately written a letter to the agency saying he will not be honoring their invitation because he is currently at a US hospital.
