Woman abandons her baby in day-care for 3 months

A woman identified as Soloja Ayobola has abandoned her baby at a day care center in Ikorodu for over three months.

According to Vanguard ,on the 18th of January, she brought her daughter 7 month old daughter Mofeoluwanifemi Amos, to God’s Care Nanny center .After filling the form , she promised to return with her passport to complete the registration process. But she never did.

Tragedy !!! Auto Crash kills 14 on there way back from a burial ceremony

No fewer than 14 persons died yesterday in a road accident at Amasiri Secondary School junction of the Afikpo-Okigwe federal road in Afikpo South LGA of Ebonyi State. The tragedy which occurred at midnight involved an articulated vehicle and a 14-seater bus conveying members of the Assemblies of God Church, Isu in Ohaoazara Local Government Area from a burial. According to the SUN,Mr Roland Ogbuke, Afikpo Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), confirmed the accident to our reporter.

He said:

“We received a distress call early this morning of the accident. I mobilized my rescue officers immediately to the scene of the carnage.

A 48-year old man, rapes daughter twice to check her virginity status

What a Useless man...Adeboye Waheed was paraded by the Lagos state police command for defiling his 14-year-old daughter (names withheld) to check her virginity status at Adama Araro Street in Ikorodu area of the state. The victim, an SS1 student of Araromi Isoju Grammar School in Ikorodu, who lived with her father, step mother and four siblings, revealed that she was defiled twice with a condom.

Narrating her ordeal to journalists, she said,

 “My father started checking my private part, to check if I have started mensuration in 2014. On a particular day in November of the same year, I was sleeping on the floor of our one room apartment in the night, he removed my wrapper. My step mother was not around that day.

A 'racist' 14-yr old boy who stabbed Nigerian Teacher in the UK jailed for 11 years

14-year-old schoolboy who stabbed his teacher in the stomach because he didn't like being disciplined by a black man has been jailed for 11 years.

The teenager, of Pakistani origin, admitted a charge of causing grievous bodily harm against Vincent Uzomah at Dixons Kings Academy in Bradford.

The boy was described by others as "disruptive and a bully" and had taken a dislike to Mr Uzomah in the seven weeks he had worked at the school.

Prosecutor said the boy told a friend the previous day that he was planning to stab a teacher and took a knife with a "substantial blade" into school on June 11, discussing his plans with other pupils.

He stabbed Mr Uzomah after a row over his mobile phone, the court was told

"He approached Mr Uzomah and reached into his pocket but at that point he took out the knife and stabbed Mr Uzomah in the stomach.Mr Uzomah thought he was going to die."]The teen later boasted of what he had done on Facebook writing: "the m*****f****r getin funny so I stick the blade straight in his tummy."

Meet the Nurse who was Arrested by the Police for stealing newborn baby

The men of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested a nurse, Adebola Titilayo, who owns a private hospital in Arogun Village, in the Ewekoro Local Government Area, for allegedly stealing a new born baby. The nurse allegedly took the baby was born and reportedly told the mother that she had a stillbirth.

This incident happened on June 13, 2015, but policemen from the Ewekoro division arrested the suspect on Friday. It was gathered that the real mother of the baby got information that her baby did not die, but was with the nurse. The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed the arrest of the nurse, added that neighbours of the nurse and the people in the community, who suddenly saw her with a baby without any pregnancy, became suspicious of her.
