I met him through my boss where I was formerly working.He was a friend to my boss. While he always saw me as too playful and jumpy, I saw him as too stingy,” 
According to Tatafo, the reason she thought her husband was stingy was that whenever he came to the office, he never bothered to buy anything for her and her co-workers unlike her boss’ other friends who were always generous.

“Those days when my boss’ colleagues came visiting, they always reached out to us when leaving. They gave us money which we used to buy doughnuts and soft drinks but my husband never gave us anything.

A Nigerian Policemen allegedly shoots at couple, kill wife in Lagos

When you put ammunition in wrong hand this is what happens...A woman, Idongesit Ekpo, and her husband, Godwin, were shot by a team of policemen attached to the Isheri Osun Police Division.Following the shooting ,motorcycle drivers on Thursday shut down the Ijegun Road in the Alimosho area of Lagos State.
While Idongesit died on the spot, Godwin was said to be in a critical condition at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, where he was taken for treatment.

Punch Metro learnt that the couple was returning from a church programme on Wednesday in a tricycle belonging to the family.
Our correspondents were told that Godwin met a police checkpoint at Obalagbe bus stop, where some other tricycle drivers were being reportedly extorted by an eight-man police team.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency,arrests 6 for swallowing $156k

                               


NDLEA, on Thursday arrested a  money laundering syndicate for swallowing $156,000 (about N32m) at Excel Oriental Hotel along Airport Road, Lagos.

The six suspects including a Bureau de Change operator were arrested in the hotel while they were busy swallowing the large sums of money with the intention of exporting $156,000 to Brazil.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has declared Kennedy Izuagbe, a former director of Societe Generale Bank Nigeria Plc and managing director of Carlisle Properties and Investment Limited, wanted over a case of conspiracy and money laundering to the tune of over N3.6 billion. Couple charged with unlawful imprisonment of disabled brother confined to a roach-infested bed for 7 years

                        

A Michigan couple are accused of keeping the woman's disabled brother confined to a filthy bed saturated with feces, urine and crawling with cockroaches in almost total isolation for up to seven years.
Andrew Green, 45, and his wife, 59-year-old Patsy Marshall, have been charged with unlawful imprisonment and first-degree vulnerable adult abuse involving the woman's bedridden older brother.
Mount Morris Township police said Marshall had power of attorney over her 62-year-old brother yet treated him in such unhealthy condition.
