Mother abandons her 6-month-old baby at a refuse dump after disagreement with husband

                        

But WHY??????  The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Delta Police Command, Mrs. Celestine Kalu has confirmed the arrest of Owhoghovo Annabel who dumped her six-month-old baby at a refuse dump after a dispute with her husband.

According to Punch, the incident began on Thursday evening, October 8, when Annabel’s husband returned from work and asked her to massage his feet. Annabel refused but instead rained abuses on her husband. 

The heated exchange of words degenerated into a fight on Friday morning after some neighbours who got wind of their quarrel moved in to settle the dispute.

Bayelsa state declares 7 days mourning as flags fly at half mast for Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, who passed away last Saturday and directed that flags in all public buildings and premises across the state be flown at half mast.

The Bayelsa State Government, in a statement by Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Esueme Dan-Kikile, said within the period of mourning, all its official engagements will be cancelled.
