Seriously! Over 5000 Well-wishers Gather to Watch Two Dogs Tie The Knot(Photos)

Still think a canine wedding is bizarre, then consider that it was no puppy affair with over 5000 guests in attendance complete with all the trappings of a traditional Hindu wedding. The unusual ceremony was held in the village of Parawa, in the northern-Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The groom, Shagun, and his bitch, Shaguniya, were dressed in children's clothes and said their vows on a purpose-built podium to raucous cheers from the crowd.

Jung, the father of the bitch, said: 'I raised her like my own daughter. Today, I am giving her hand in marriage to Shagun. I wish the couple a happy married life together.'
Excited guests danced to music played by an orchestra and traditional Indian cuisine was served to hungry revellers.

Jung gave Shaguniya a tearful send off as his beloved pet departed in the car with the groom.
Guests said the unusual ceremony was a 'historic one', which demonstrated Indian society's love for their dogs. See more photos below...

Rugby Player Needed 11 Stitches to Repair Torn Pen*s he Suffered on The Pitch

In one of sport's most bizarre injuries ever, 23-year-old Haydn Peacock who plays for French team AS Carcassonne suffered a torn penis during a match in February.
He posted a dramatic photo of him being pulled down by his privates as he screamed in agony during a February match against St Esteve Catalans Dragons. He didn't even know at the time that he had suffered a tear until he got to the locker room.

He said: "The pain was all right and then at halftime I was like, I’ve got to have a look, I checked on it and the skin is half ripped off and I was like, ‘Shit, where’s the doctor? Where’s the doctor?’ "
The doctor sent him to a clinic that night to be treated. Peacock showed his teammates the damage to laughs all around and said he had to "strap it up" for the next game.

"#rugbyleague is definitely not a sport I recommend," he wrote in an Instagram post featuring the photo. "11 stitches later for the little fella but she'll be right." He could play with a protective cup in order to avoid such injuries but he says it impedes his ability to run.

Following the news making the rounds that Nigeria’s RnB stars, Peter and Paul Okoye of the P-Square fame have finally gone their separate ways, the former’s  new manager, Olatunde Michael has refuted the rumour, insisting that the singing twins are still together despite the odds.

Olatunde  made this startling disclosure, while in a chat with WG.
“Peter is still very much with his brother,  Changing his name to Mr.P has nothing to do
with breaking up with his twin  brother or going solo,”Olatunde hinted.
Meanwhile, the duo’s publicist, Bayo Adetu was unable to confirm the news, stating that “there is no official statement to that effect, at least for now.”

Recent events indicate that all is not well with the Okoye brothers. Earlier in the week. Jailed Actress, Ibinabo Fiberisima's Bail Application Suffers Setback

Nollywood actress and former beauty queen Ibinabo Fiberesima, who is currently serving a five-year jail term for manslaughter, was denied bail today by the Court of Appeal in Lagos.
Even after one Victor Eden, in a six-paragraph affidavit of urgency stated that Ms. Fiberesima is currently recovering from a breast tumor-removal surgery and requires medical attention.

Victor had said:
“Her wound has not fully healed and as such she is afraid that her continued stay in prison may endanger her life, as she will not have access to special medical attention.''

The deponent stated further that it would be in the interest of justice and for her health to admit Ms. Fiberesima to bail pending the hearing and determination of her appeal to the Supreme Court.

Ibinabo was sentenced by Justice Deborah Oluwayemi of a Lagos High Court, for reckless driving and causing death. She was alleged to have recklessly driven a car which resulted in an accident along the Lekki-Epe expressway, Lagos, causing the death of one Giwa Suraj. The deceased was said to be a staff of a Lagos State government hospital.

Today, the three-man panel of judges, headed by Justice U.I. Ndukwe-Anyanwu, ruled that Ibinabo's bail application was incomplete, as she failed to attach to her application, copies of the judgment affirming the five-year jail sentence imposed on her by a Lagos High Court.

Presiding Justice Ndukwe-Anyanwu said the only option left was to strike out the application or adjourn it to a further date for a hearing.

Consequently, Nnaemeka Amaechina, Ms. Fiberesima's counsel, asked for an adjournment to enable him to correct the bail application. The court subsequently adjourned the matter to April 7.

Meanwhile, Ms. Fiberesima asked the Supreme Court to set aside the judgement of the lower court that was affirmed by the appellate court.

In her notice of appeal, she stated that the Court of Appeal erred when it affirmed the alteration by the High Court of Lagos State by setting aside the option of a N100,000 fine and substituting it with a prison term of five years.

The appellant further stated that the Court of Appeal erred when it affirmed the interference by the High Court with the exercise of discretion by the Magistrate's Court.

Ms. Fiberesima added that the judgment of the Court of Appeal was unreasonable and could not be supported, with regard to the evidence presented before the court.

"Even 5 Years Can't Bring Back The Deceased" - Actress Grace Amah Pleads For Ibinabo Fiberesima to be Pardoned

Following the conviction of Ibinabo Fiberesima, several celebrities has made a case for her.

They believe that rather than imprison her, she should be made to cater for the needs of the Dr. Suraj Giwa's Family who died 10 years ago in an auto crash involving Ibinabo.

However, a lot people also believe that she deserves what she got and should pay for her crime.

Actress, Grace Amah has joined other celebrities pleading for the forgiveness of Ibinabo

Read what she wrote below...

Those who want Ibinabo in jail are those who have been dwarfed by her intimidating credentials and humanitarian services. It may be argued that the law has taken its course, yes. So it seems, but that is the law of man. Daniel was put in prison as recorded in the Scripture bcos King Darius was convinced that he should be put to death. God visited Daniel in prison and released him. Peter was put into prison by Herod and was bound in between by two soldiers, and behold an Angel of the Lord appeared and struck the cell with lightening and the chains on him fell and he was released. All this indicates that the law of God is more and stronger than the law of man. The family of Dr. Suraj may have got reprieve by the judgement of the Court, but better reprieve will be that of peace between Ibinabo and Suraj family.

What was needed ab initio was an understanding where Mrs Ibinabo takes over some responsibilities for the family of the deceased through providing resources or scholarship for one or two children of the deceased and some form help to the widow. That is still an opening that could be accessed. Even 5 years imprisonment can never bring back the deceased. The civil law may have be fulfilled but by the judgement and imprisonment of Ibinabo, but in our human relations, there remains a permanent emotional and psychological scar. What is the way forward; let the family of Dr. Suraj find reason to go further than legal satisfaction.

It is Ibinabo Fiberesima today, who knows the next tomorrow? Let us note also that as celebrities we have to be very careful and learn from this because It shows also that the law neither respect persons nor status and perhaps Nigeria is becoming a nation where people still have hope in the legal process to obtain justice no matter how long. This matter is certainly beyond politics of AGN and personality conflict #ISTAND4IB #PRAY4IB #PRAY4GIWASFAMILY #GODBLESSNIGERIA
