Are Men Scarce? : This Woman Just Married Herself(Photos)

Only days after another lady committed suicide because her friends were getting married and no man was ready to marry her, this 42-year-old American woman named Beautiful Existence has spent as much as $7,000 (£5,000) on a trip to Paris - where she ended up getting married to herself.

Beautiful Existence from Seattle - who changed her name from Desiree Longabaugh - splashed the cash on a romantic ceremony under the Eiffel Tower, flights to France, accommodation for a week, and a birthday celebration while there.

The bride, who works in social media and marketing, wore a casual white dress, claiming to be happy.

Husband Catches Wife With Her Lover in Bed

I found condoms in my wife’s bag and she could not give a satisfactory explanation about how she came about it,’’ a man told an Ibadan Customary Court as the court dissolved the 7-year-old marriage.

The Mapo Customary Court dissolved the union between Sikiru Alabi and his wife, Basira, on the grounds of prostitution and adultery.

The husband had told the court: "Nemesis caught up with her recently when I met a man on her deeply engaged in s*xual intercourse right in my house. I was mad, but Basira quickly pleaded with me, promising not to do it again.

"Though, I forgave her, but she is still neck deep in adultery."

According to NAN, Mr Alabi, an automobile mechanic in the metropolis had approached the court, seeking an end to his marriage to Basira, a hairdresser at Idi Arere area of Ibadan.

Alabi said Basira was also engaged in prostitution and had continued to rain curses on him and his relatives.

Basira did not deny the allegations, she said: "It is true that there is no more love between I and Alabi."

Basira pleaded with the court to grant her the custody of the child after dissolving the marriage.

But the judge ruled that: "It is in view of the circumstances surrounding the issue at hand that the court decided to put an end to the relationship between Alabi and Basira.

"Alabi shall take custody of the five and a half year-old child produced by the union, while Basira should be free to see the child in court anytime she wants."

The President of the court, Ademola Odunade, stated that a cheating wife is a "deadly" person.

Check Out Photos From This Wedding That Reportedly Cost a BILLION Dollars

Billionaire son Said Gutseriev, 28, married 20-year-old Khadija Uzhakhovs in Moscow, Russia last weekend in a jaw dropping lavish affair, rumoured to have cost up to $1 billion.

Held at the luxury Moscow restaurant and banqueting venue Safisa, which was decked out in wall-to-wall fresh flowers, the wedding set a new bar for extravagance.

The young bride arrived in a beaded Elie Saab gown, whose wedding dresses range from £5,000-£18,000. Her dress was imported from Paris and reportedly weighed 25lb (almost two stone) because of the huge train and heavy embellishment and the bride needed the assistance of several people to carry her train and help her walk upstairs.

With a tight bodice, long sleeves and a full skirt cascading in folds to the floor, the gown was pure fairy tale - and came with a floor-length veil and bejewelled handbag to match.
Khadija's look was completed with a diamond tiara and whopping diamond pendant around her neck.

Meanwhile, guests travelled to the grand nuptials in a fleet of luxury cars including Rolls Royces which were seen lined up outside the venue ahead of the ceremony.

The entertainment also did not come cheap. Jennifer Lopez - who was reported to have been paid $1million for singing for Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the president of Turkemenistan in 2013 - jetted in to give the moneyed crowd an energetic performance in a series of skimpy outfits...

Enrique Iglesias also took to the stage to perform Bailando, casually dressed in jeans, a T shirt and baseball cap. Sting also performed and was joined by a group of young girls and women for his song Desert Rose.

The couple's 600 guests dined on European cuisine and sushi and the wedding cake was a lavish eight tier creation, decorated with elaborate white icing and layers of pink floral garlands and topped with a star and crescent as a show of the couple's Muslim faith.

But the extravagance of the occasion is surely fitting for the son of Kazakh-born Mikhail Gutseriev, a Muslim born in the Caucasus, who is thought to be worth $6.2 billion (£4.3billion).

The self-made man who now calls Russia home ensured he gave his public school-educated son a day to remember.

Said, who was born in 1988, was educated at Harrow and then the University of Oxford where he studied archaeology and geology.

He faced tragedy when his son Chingis - who also went to Harrow - died in a mysterious car accident in Moscow while driving his Ferrari.

Chingis was buried in Baku, Azerbaijan, where his family have links.
Said also completed a masters degree at the University of Plymouth, focusing on management of oil and gas industries, before returning to Russia to join the family business.

He's also spoken of his desire to one day return to the UK to study for an MBA at London Business School, but for now is director of Russneft’s Orsk Refinery.

Little is known about the bride other than that she's a first year student at the Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry. Fireworks were let off at the end of the evening to celebrate the happy couple's union.

Man's Skeleton Found In His Room After Been ' Missing' For Seven Months

The skeleton of a 46-year-old man identified as Sikiru Yusuf was found in his room seven months after he was declared missing.

Yusuf, a resident of 21, Jaiyesinmi Street, Aga, Ikorodu, was discovered by his elder brother, Alhaji Basiru Yusuf, who at the instance of the deceased’s landlady, came to pack his property.

It was gathered that the aged landlady, who resides at the topmost floor of the one-storey building house as the deceased, became apprehensive after he was not seen for four months.

Reports gathered that the nature of Yusuf’s job usually took him out of town for two or three months before he would return.

Hence, no one raised an eyebrow when he was not seen in the first three months, during which the stench from his decomposing corpse was passed off as a dead rat’s smell.

When he was not seen for about five months, it was learnt that his family members at Ikosi in Ketu were notified and they assumed he might have travelled.

But the landlady grew impatient by the seventh month, requesting that his family should evacuate his belongings from the room, since he had not shown up.

This prompted the senior Yusuf to visit his brother’s residence at about 12:30pm on Monday and forced the door open in the presence of the landlady and other residents.

As soon as the door opened, it was gathered that the family members and the tenants saw the skeleton of the occupant on the floor, with a rope beside it. They said this suggested that he might have committed suicide.

According to the landlady’s daughter, Funmi Badewa, they did not suspect anything was wrong because the deceased was not always around.

“At first, we thought he must have gone for his job, which usually kept him away for two or three months.

But we became worried and contacted his family when we did not see him after some months.

“We went to his family at Ikosi in Ketu and asked after him. But they too said they have not seen him and that he probably travelled. When it was seven months, his brother now came and said they would pack his things since no one has seen him.

“They broke the door and that was when his skeleton was found on the ground. We also saw a rope, which means he might have committed suicide.

“There was a time we perceived bad odour, but we thought that a rat might have died somewhere.

The smell lasted several days. No one even thought it could be a dead human being,” she said.

The deceased’s brother was said to have rushed to Ikorodu Police Division to make a report and a team of detectives, who followed him back to the scene, evacuated the body.

It could not be ascertained if the deceased was married or have children, as his neighbours said he lived alone in the apartment.

Confirming the development, the state command’s spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent of Police (SP), said the body has been deposited at a public morgue for autopsy.

Investigation is ongoing to unravel what actually transpired,” she said.
