Tragic : Nigerian Footballer John George Passes Away



 The Management of Mighty Jets FC of Jos has announced the demise of the club’s defensive midfielder, John George, who they said passed yesterday afternoon Thursday April 21st in Kaduna State after a brief illness.
 In a press statement signed by the club’s media officer, Mbum Ferdinand, the management described George as a hard working and committed professional who was always respectful to officials and his colleagues.

The statement reads,
'George was as a hardworking and committed professional who was always respectful to officials and colleagues alike.

Until his death, he was on loan at Nigeria Professional Football League side, Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi and was a regular member of the first team.'

'His last game was a 2-2 home draw between Lobi Stars and Kano Pillars last month and he had obtained permission from the club to return to Kaduna to treat a recurring bout of malaria, a trip he never returned from.'

'Before joining Mighty Jets he had played for Plateau United FC also of Jos. Mighty Jets would discuss with Lobi Stars and the player’s family on the plans and arrangements as regards his burial.'

'The entire management pray his family would have the fortitude to bear the loss and also pray for the repose of his soul.'

Woman Found Dead in a Canal at Barracks in Lagos(Photos)


 A woman was found in a canal behind Mopol 23 barracks, along bank Anthony way, Ikeja, yesterday afternoon. An eyewitness who lives in the area shared the photos online.
 He said nobody knows how the woman got there but that there's a hotel around where it happened. They are asking the authorities to look into the matter. More photos below...




EFCC Arrest & Detain Former Finance Minister



 Following investigation into the $2.1 billion arms deal funds, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC yesterday April 21st, arrested and detained Former Finance Minister (during Obasanjo's regime.. 2006-2007), Esther Nenadi Usman for allegedly receiving N2.5 billion of the N4 billion taken out of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, on the orders of the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, during the 2015 election.

 According to Vanguard, Usman was the Director of Finance of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign and received the monies collected from the CBN on Dasuki's order.

APC Member Shot Dead in Rivers State(Graphic Photos)


 A member of APC in Rivers state, Vincent Embee was shot dead by some armed men in Rivers state yesterday April 21st.
 Vincent who was a Senior lecturer at the Ken-Saro Wiwa Polytechnic in Bori, was driving with one of his students, Miss Priye when the gunmen attacked and opened fire on his car. He died instantly while the lady is battling for her life in hospital. Vincent was an APC leader in Yeghe community in Gokana local government area of the state. See the graphic photos below...

Female University Professor Strips Nak*d to Protest Office Lock-out(Video)



 A controversial Ugandan professor Dr. Stella Nyanzi(pictured) of University of Makerere who is famous for her threats and antics during Uganda's general election, stripped naked to protest the decision by Makerere Institute of Social Research to vacate her from the office to make space for a new program. She accused the director Mahmood Mamdani of being a dictator.

"Mahmood Mamdani locked me out of my office, even after the Deputy Vice Chancellor refused him to continue with evicting me. I have found his ugly padlock barring my access to my office. This is the third day"  she wrote on her Facebook page.

She then threatened to strip naked in three hours if her office was still under lock. She eventually made good on the threat and posted a video of her n*de protest. She also took nude n*de photos and posted them along with verbal threats.


"I have thrown my clothes outside Mamdani's office. I am naked as I cry out for my office," she wrote.




Facebook deleted her account but later reinstated it. Mamdani eventually budged and allowed Dr. Nyanzi access to her office.

The Ugandan Minister of Ethics and Integrity said that Dr. Nyanzi will be imprisoned for the immorality and porn she displayed on social media.
