Woman Sets House On Fire, Kills Herself And Two Children After Fight With Husband

 A 37-year-old Caroline Wanjiru(Pictured above) is alleged to have locked the gate to her residence, then took her kids to the bedroom where she doused them with petrol and set them on fire. Grace Murugi, 9, and Paul Macharia, 2, were charred beyond recognition alongside their mother who is said to have been fought with her man prior to the incident.The husband, a senior banker was away at the time of the accident.

 Neighbors who went to the residence to put out the fire had a hard time as the place had been locked and they had to break down the gate. The three were dead before the fire was put out.

A car had been parked close to the gate making it impossible to open the gate even after breaking the lock.

Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Attack Community in Zamfara, Kill 7

 At least seven people were killed with many others injured after suspected herdsmen launched an attack on Madada and Ruwan Tofa villages in Zamfara state yesterday May 4th.

 Confirming the attacks, the state police command's spokesperson, Sanusi Amiru, said a group of suspected herdsmen attacked Madada village to steal petrol from the residents while another group attacked Ruwan Tofa village, killing some people. Both incidents recorded high number of injured persons The police say they are working to restore law and order in both villages.

 Nollywood star, John Okafor, popularly called ‘Mr Ibu’ had a minor car crash recently.

 The comic actor’s white BMW SUV was crashed after a minor accident along Lekki-Ikoyi roundabout in Lagos.

Suicidal Man Climbs Electric Pole In Lekki, Says He Won't Come Down Until He Gets N5m(Video)

 An unknown man climbed an electrical pole at Adebisi Oguniyi Crecent Lekki Ikate Round About, this morning, saying he wanted to commit suicide. When persuaded to come down, he said he would only do that if he gets N5million. Policemen from Maroko Divisio arrived at the scene but didn't know how to bring him down and so left. Sad : Beautiful Nollywood Actress, Genevieve Nene Dies(See Photos)

 Nollywood Director and Screenwriter, Ike Nnaebue took to his Instagram page yesterday to announce the passing of upcoming actress, Genevieve Nene pictured above. She died on Tuesday May 3rd in Lagos State.

 Two weeks ago, Nene shared on her Instagram page that she was very sick and prayed for God to heal her.

Many of her fans have gone on her page to pay their condolence and express their shock at her demise. She has featured in movies such as Hottest Strippers, Hottest Virgins, Quest Of A Life Time, Romantic Heart, Mistake Women Make amongst others. May her soul rest in peace Amen. See more below...
