US Vice President's Son, Beau Biden Dies At 46 according to a statement by the White House. Joseph “Beau” Biden III, an Iraq War veteran who also served as the attorney general of Delaware died after battling brain cancer, the vice president’s office said. Beau Biden is the first child of a sitting president or vice president to die since Patrick Bouvier Kennedy passed away two days after his birth in 1963.

Vice President Biden said in his statement, “More than his professional accomplishments, Beau measured himself as a husband, father, son and brother. His absolute honor made him a role model for our family. Beau embodied my father’s saying that a parent knows success when his child turns out better than he did.”

A suicide bomber has killed himself and 16 others outside a mosque in the Nigerian city Maiduguri.

Trader Ali Bakomi said the bomber was pushing a wheelbarrow and then joined a crowd of people in front of the mosque in the biggest city in Nigeria's troubled northeast.

Officials told Borno state Gov. Kashim Shettima that the bomber killed himself and 16 other people.

The bombing came hours after rocket-propelled grenades exploded into homes before dawn. They killed at least 13 people and injured more, according to resident Idrissa Mandara.

Timaya confirms another baby with same ‘Babymama’ ... and mother of his first child. The self styled ‘Egberi papa’ said in a recent interview with HipTv news that, ‘I love my daughter Emmanuella so much and yes, I would be having another child soon and from the same woman.’ Timaya’s confirmation validates our earlier report in April where he declined to comment on the issue.

I never knew I was going to become a musician. I went to Davido’s studio with a friend and that was where I met Shizzy. He came up with the idea of doing a song to eulogise Akpabio. I told him I did not have money to record a song and he still went ahead to compose a beat for me. Davido fell in love with the beat and wanted it for himself. At the end of the day, we all came together, came up with lyrics and recorded the song.

During a press conference at a local hotel in Islamabad, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islami Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman asked the Pakistani armed forces to launch a military operation against women wearing jeans all over Pakistan. According to him, the immodesty of women is the cause behind earthquakes, inflation and other kinds of disasters. Fazlur Rehman went on to say that a woman who is not covered like a 'sack of flour' is a mobile weapon of mass destruction for her state and that Pakistan has multitude of such nuclear missiles in all its major cities.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo led members of his family and friends to a thanksgiving service at the National Christian Center for his successful inauguration as the Vice President of Nigeria. While giving his testimony at the church service, VP Osinbajo said he was divinely chosen to assist President Buhari in this administration

His plan is to make Nigeria a nation that will be admired and respected amongst the nations of the earth by establishing .. and integrity. Thousands of loved-up visitors have attached padlocks, symbolising their love,to the Pont de Arts bridge .But authorities now say the locks are weighing down the bridge..According to UK Mirror

It comes after part of the famous bridge broke off last year, seemingly because of the weight of the padlocks.

A Mexican man has been jailed for 241 years for keeping his lover and two teenage girls captive for five years, and committing a horrifying string of crimes against them. Dubbed ‘Mexico's Fritzl’, Jorge Iniestra Salas repeatedly raped the girls, beginning when they were just 12 and 14 years old.

The 36-year-old, fathered five children with one of the girls.As well as forcing them to perform horrific sex acts on him, he kept his semen in a jar so he could force them to drink it later. He was also charged with the murders of one of the girls and one of his own children, a three-month-old boy.The former taxi driver beat the girl to death in 2009, and suffocated the baby by forcing him to nurse on the dead girl’s body.

A man is facing up to 2 years in prison after calling the Bordeaux airport in France to allege a bomb threat just because he didn't want his girlfriend to miss her flight. The 33-year-old man was arrested by French police after calling Bordeaux-Mérignac airport saying, 'there is a bomb, there is a bomb' at 7.30am local time on Thursday.

It is believed he made the threat so as to delay flights because his girlfriend was stuck in traffic en-route in southwestern France.

Police sealed off the airport, and after extensive searches, no threat to security was discovered, reports French newspaper. The call was traced to a location around 12 miles from the French airport, and the man was taken into custody.

A young Ghanaian girl identified as Blandine was on May 25th electrocuted to death after the power bank she was using to charge her phone got stuck on her skin and electrocuted her. According to reports from Dumsor, Ghana, the girl was chatting with a friend when she fell asleep and placed the power bank she was using to charge her phone around her breast region. She had connected the power bank to an electricity source so it can charge when power is restored. As power was restored to her area, their was a power surge, the power bank got heated and got stuck on her skin, electrocuting her to death. Her parents found her dead. So sad! Mr Ajayi Olatunbosun has been arrested by the police for allegedly hiring thugs to pour acid on his ex-wife, Bamidele Otakiti, in her shop on Adejobi Street in the Ajasa Command area of Lagos.

It was gathered that all had been well between the couple since they moved to Lagos in 2005 until a few months ago when a disagreement soured their relationship. The quarrel was said to have led to their separation in February, 2015. It was learnt that the suspect, prior to the divorce, had on several occasions accused Otakiti of adultery.

Outgoing Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi during his 50th birthday thanksgiving service at the Corpus Christi Cathedral in Port Harcourt told Most Rev, Dr. Camillus Etokudoh, the Catholic Bishop of Port Harcourt Diocese, who had pleaded with him during the thanksgiving service to forgive Nyesom Wike, the State governor-elect and let peace reign for the sake of the people told the Bishop he cannot and will not forgive Wike until those that died during the last elections in the State get justice because the deaths were caused by Wike. He says though in Catholic Church’s doctrines, no one is allowed to oppose the view of a Bishop, but the same Catholic law also says that justice comes before forgiveness. Continue…
