"I Love Caressing My Victims Breasts Before Robbing Them"- Robber Confesses

Not the most classic signature move you would argue lol! A pervert robber who caresses his victims' boobs before robbing them has been arrested. The robber, Abdullahi Isiaka was arrested with his accomplice, Abel.

Isiaka was said to have confessed that caressing the breasts of his female victims before robbing them made him very happy.

The duo of Isiaka and Abel, it was learnt used to be members of a four-man gang including Governor and Brigadier, who have since been arrested.

They were nabbed around Ijora-Badia on Monday morning, while they were going for an operation on their motorcycle.

Unfortunately for them, policemen were raiding motorcycles flouting traffic laws in that axis, leading to their arrest and the recovery of a gun.

According to the police, Isiaka usually pleasured himself by fondling the breasts of his female victims before dispossessing them of their valuables.

The suspects, it was gathered, are currently in the custody of operatives of the Federal Anti-Robbery Sqaud ( FSARS), where they disclosed their mode of operation.

It was learnt that they usually slept near the railway and during work rush hours, waylay their victims, mostly lone walkers, who they trap in their midst.

He said: “They target lone figures, put the person in their middle and rob the person. Once they get a victim, Brigadier would bring out gun and order the victim to cooperate with them.

“Isiaka targets women. Once they catch a female victim, Isiaka would start caressing her breasts. He said that caressing breasts before robbing the person used to make him feel happy.”

According to the source, Isiaka confessed that the gang once robbed a victim who had dollars, adding that he used his share of the loot to buy a motorcycle, which they used for easy escape.

“He said he used his share of the money to buy motorcycle and after that, he started his own operation with Abel. He said they usually robbed at Ebute-Metta, Apapa, Wharf and Ikeja and that he handles the gun,” said the police source.

The Kaduna State Commissioner for Health, Professor Jonathan Nok, yesterday said three persons affected by Lassa fever have been confirmed dead at the Saint Louis Specialist Hospital in Zonkwa, Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

According to the Health Commissioner, a medical doctor, a nurse and a pregnant woman are those killed.

Nok said the affected hospitals have been isolated in order to trace the primary and secondary contacts with the deceased. He urged residents not to panic, as government was on top of the situation.

Nok also advised residents to maintain personal hygiene around their homes and to prevent rats from contaminating their foods with faces and urine.

Abducted Girl Ese Oruru Speaks out, Wants to Remain in Kano With Her Lover

According to reports, Ese Oruru, who was allegedly kidnapped from Bayelsa State to Kano, said she was not interested in reuniting with her family and denied reports that she was abducted from her home in Bayelsa State. In an exclusive audio recording obtained by the online publication late yesterday, the girl also said she eloped with her lover to Kano in order to convert to Islam.

“My name is Aisha Chuwas. I am 17-year-old. I came here to be a Muslim and I will stay here.”

Human rights lawyer, Huwaila Mohammed, who was given access to the girl at the Zonal Police Headquarters in Kano, said upon interrogation, she understood the girl was never forced to convert to Islam. She also had access to Miss Oruru’s lover and established that he is just 18 years old, 'not anywhere above 20'.

“I was surprised when I saw a very small boy. He is just 18-year old. I was enraged thinking that it was an old man involved in the saga. From the way I see it, they eloped not because of religion but love,” she said.

Drug Suspect Breaks Through Glass To Evade Arrest At Abuja Airport

National Drug Laws and Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) yesterday rearrested a drug suspect Michael Nwobodo Alli, 31, after he broke through a glass wall in an attempt to escape at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA) Abuja.

He was found in possession of 81 pellets of hard drugs packed in a clean Parker Whisky carton along with boxes of chocolates in a duty free bag, spokesman of the anti-narcotic agency Ofoyeju Mitchell said in statement.

The arrest took place during screening of passengers on an Emirates airline flight from Dubai.

As soon as the drug was detected, the suspect took to his heels breaking through a glass wall but was pursued by narcotic officers and apprehended with the help of security officials at the airport. Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect resides in Dubai where he works as a technician.

NDLEA commander at the Abuja airport, Mr. Hamisu Lawan said that the suspect sustained minor injuries in the process.

“During routine screening of passengers, the suspect Michael Nwobodo was found with drugs. He immediately started running and broke through a glass wall in an attempt to escape justice. Our officers ran after him and caught him with the help of other security officials at the airport. It is amazing that he could break through a glass wall but fortunately, he sustained minor injuries and had been treated,” Hamisu stated.

The suspect told investigators that he ran away because he was afraid of arrest. “I live and work in Dubai. I came to Nigeria for my father’s burial but decided to bring the drugs because I needed money. When the drug was discovered, I ran because I was afraid of arrest. I am ashamed of myself and do not know how to face my friends and relatives”. He hails from Enugu State.

NDLEA Chairman/Chief Executive, Col. Muhammad Mustapha Abdallah thanked the officers and members of the airport community for their efforts that led to his re-arrest. “I am pleased with this arrest. I thank the officers and members of the airport community for their support. We are prepared to track down drug traffickers and scuttle the activities of drug trafficking organizations,” Abdallah stated.

The suspect will soon be charged to court, the statement said.

I’m 16, Ese Can’t be 17 – Elder Brother Says

The teenager, who was allegedly kidnapped from Bayelsa State to Kano, Ese Oruru, said on Monday she was not interested in reuniting with her family, denying reports that she was abducted from her home in Bayelsa State.

In an audio recording obtained by PREMIUM TIMES on Monday, the girl also said she eloped with her lover to Kano in order to convert to Islam. And that she is 17 years old.

Onome Oruru, Ese’s immediate elder brother, tells ARUKAINO UMUKORO that his sister’s actual age is 14.

How old are you?

I am 16 years old. I was born on Nov 23, 1999.

How did you know?

Because my mother told me so and that is the date I celebrate my birthday every year. I just graduated from secondary school last year here in Bayelsa State, at the age of 16. All my peers are in my age bracket. I am certain of my age because I am old enough to know. Ese and I attend the same school. She was in JSS3 last year when she was taken away.

What will you tell people who claim your sister is 17, and not 14 years old as your mother has said?
It is funny that these people are saying all sorts of things about my sister and her age. Everybody can see it, it is clear. I can’t be 16 years old, and my younger sister will be older than me. How can she be 17 years old, when my immediate elder sister, will clock 19 years old on March 7 this year? We all have about two years’ age difference in between. Ese clocked 14 on February 22.

How did you celebrate her birthday?
Some people came to encourage us. We were happy, but we were sad that our sister was not there with us on her birthday.
Do you know the man who took your sister away?
Yes, Yinusa is one of these normal Hausa guys around. We usually call them aboki; they sell things in our area.

Did he look like someone who could abduct your sister?

Not at all; he looked very innocent and went about his business without complaint. When I heard he was the one that abducted my younger sister, I was very shocked and surprised.

If you look at his face, he looks like someone who cannot hurt a fly, and he was sometimes playful. I didn’t believe he could do such a thing. Everybody in the compound knew him because he used to supply water before he became a keke Marwa (tricycle) rider.

Some people also claim that your younger sister said she does not want to come back home to Bayelsa, but that she wants to stay in Kano.

I do not believe them at all. Even if she said that as they claim, then it means they are the ones manipulating her to say such things, because Ese that I know cannot say such a thing.

Ese is that kind of person that does not even want to become a Muslim at all; she would not even dream of it. In school, she was one of the strongest Scripture Union members; I know her very well. Then, she also used to tell me to come and join the SU. She did evangelism during break time most times.

What kind of person is your younger sister?

Ese is still a small girl and cannot decide many things for herself. Ese cannot even wash clothes very well. She likes singing and she was a chorister in the church. She likes preaching and praying. She used to preach to me and my friends. All those things they are saying she said are not true; they are manipulations by those people. I am sad about all of this. I just want my sister back home.

‘We’ll believe Ese is free when we see her’

The parents of 14-year-old Ese Oruru have dismissed reports that their daughter is 18 years old, and not 14.

Ese had been abducted in August 2015 by one Yinusa, aka Yellow, who was a longstanding customer of her mother, Mrs. Rose Oruru, a food vendor in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.

Yinusa took Ese, who was 13 years old at the time, to Kano where she was allegedly converted to Islam and forcefully married.

Subsequent efforts by her parents to get her released, including a visit to the Emir of Kano’s palace, had met a brick wall.

In an interview with PUNCH on Monday, Ese’s mother, Rose, said her daughter was forced to lie about her age because she had been manipulated by her abductor, Yinusa, and other elements working with him.

“We do not have an official birth certificate because Ese was born in a nursing home on February 22, 2002, in Opolo, Bayelsa State. We did not have money to go to a regular hospital.
“Ese’s immediate elder sibling, Onome, a boy, was born in November 23, 1999. I always write the date of birth of all my children down,” she told our correspondent on the telephone.
Rose said she had, on the advice of a non-governmental organisation, gone ahead to swear an affidavit to authenticate Ese’s age.

In the same vein, Ese’s father, Charles, said his daughter was 14 years old.

He told Punch that the people that claimed that his daughter was 18 were trying to gain sympathy.

He said:
“They are all lies. My daughter is 14. They know that Nigerians are now against them and they want to do everything to cover up their crime and make us look like fools. My daughter will never say a thing like that.”
Charles said he would not believe his daughter had been freed until he sees her.

He said:
“I went to see the Commissioner of Police in Bayelsa today, and he said my daughter would be released this week. He said when the Emir of Kano returned from his travel, they would release my daughter to the Inspector-General of Police. I was happy, but skeptical because they have said the same thing before, and they did not free my daughter. I won’t believe anything until I see my daughter, Ese, in person. For now, it is still a probability.”
Also, Rose said she would not believe that her daughter had been released as claimed until she sees her.

She said:
“We have been hearing different rumours, but I won’t believe any of them until I see my daughter. When we went to Kano, the Emir said something about her being released to us, so why should I believe them this time?
But I will be happy to see my daughter back home with me and safe.
The Orurus also expressed gratitude to PUNCH for the campaign to get their daughter released.

“Without PUNCH and the NGO, many Nigerians won’t have known what is happening.
“I thank them a million times and all Nigerians for their prayers and support. I pray that what happened to my daughter will not happen to any of their children,” she said.

"Rev. King's Death Sentence Caused By Witches, Wizards" - Church Members

Church members of the Christian Praying Assembly(CPA) attributed last Friday’s confirmation of the death sentenced passed on their General overseer Chukwuemeka Ezeugo (aka Rev. King), to the handiwork of witches and wizards.

The members also reaffirmed their belief that Rev. King will be spared the hangman’s noose and “return to join us.”

The self-styled cleric was sentenced to death in 2007 for the burning to death of a member of his church in 2006.

During the first church service after the Supreme Court decision at the Lagos headquarters at Ajao Estate, off the Murtala Muhammad Airport Road, Pastor Ifeanyi King, who preached said:

“Our G.O. (General Overseer) the most holiness, Rev King, is coming back. He said he would come back and we believe the words of his mouth. We believe his report that he is coming back. Everything happening now we know is the handiwork of witches and wizard. Soon a new story will emerge.”: “Whether people realise it or not, everybody now knows his holiness, our G.O. Rev King. The front pages of newspapers are flooded with his name. People are yearning to read about him in the social media. I can confirm to you that by all these, a lot of people have become endeared to him. Our Daddy G.O. shall live forever for us in Jesus name.”

To every word he uttered, there was a chorus of Amen by the congregation. They sang hymns and danced to mark “the birthday of the G.O.”

His death sentence was confirmed on his birthday last Friday.

Pastor Ifeanyi, sported a shaved head and beards like Pastor king. A number of male in the congregation also appeared in the same way. Most of the pastors also use the name King as substitute for their surname.

'Godmother' of Prostitutes Retires After Sleeping With Over 4000 Men(Photos)

According to The New Zimbabwean News, a woman who is retiring after her 30 years years long career as a prostitute, claims to have serviced over 4,000 men.

During her legendary career, the 55-year-old Prostitute who goes by the name Sylvia Kandeya with the alias SK, who has decided to go on retirement, used to sleep with more than 7 men per day but now things have changed as she is retiring; so it’s now one or two men per month.

She said that's just like a rough estimate as she can't simply remember all the men she has slept. She said they should be more than figure

SK who is considered the godmother of all sex workers in and around the Madondo shopping centre of the MT Darwin Township has a register of all sex workers in the area and they all pay homage to her before plying their trade there.

She has now managed to buy a stand in Mt Darwin Township, built a house and also sent her children to school.

The popular Prostitute told the New Zimbabwe news in an interview that she has sub-divided her house into several rooms where she now allows other Prostitutes stay and pay her rentals. Sometimes when business is low, she gives them time to make money and pay later.

She however boasted that with the coming of young and energetic sex workers, she is not in competition with them because what she does is assist them whenever it's necessary and she has opened a register to know which sex worker is at Madondo shopping centre in case something happens to them.

She wasn't also shy to reveal that she is HIV positive, but was quick to clarify that her retirement is not because she is infected, but age.

Photos : Kano Man Steals & Forcefully Marries 14-yr-old Bayelsa Girl #FreeEse

A 14-year-old schoolgirl in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State named Ese Oruru has been allegedly abducted and married by a Kano man.

Punch correspondent Simon Utebor writes about the alleged abduction.

On August 12, 2015, nothing indicated to Mrs. Rose Oruru, a food vendor in Opolo, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, that she would soon face an ordeal over her 14-year-old daughter, Ese.

That day, she had gone to the market and left her four children at her shop. She returned to find out that her daughter, Ese, was allegedly abducted by one Yinusa, aka Yellow, who is one of her long
standing customers.

Narrating the incident, the distraught mother said:

“When I came back, the elder brother of Ese, Kevin, 16, said Ese had left the shop since 11am and had not returned. I enquired where she could have gone, but he said he did not know.
From there, I started looking for her, asking neighbours if they saw her, but they said they did not. As she usually sold food to northern artisans, I went to the place they usually gathered to find out if they saw Ese. But by the time I got there, they were in the mosque, so, I had to go back.

After some minutes, I sent my son back to the place and directed that he should tell anybody he saw there that I wanted to see Yinusa. As the boy got there, one of them asked my son to tell me to come. When I got there, he said Yinusa, who is also called Yellow, told them he had sold his commercial tricycle and had gone home to Kano with my daughter, Ese. They told me Yinusa said he was taking Ese home to convert her to Islam to enable him to marry her.”

One Mohammed (aka Daidi) reportedly informed Oruru that Yinusa had taken Ese to Kano with an intention to marry her. She was 13 years old then.

Acting on the information, Oruru approached one Dan Kano, who not only confirmed the story, but also promised to take her to Kano to recover her daughter.

But Dan Kano reneged on his promise and sent one Rabiu to accompany the child’s mother to Kano instead.

On August 14, the anguished mother set for Kano. She and Rabiu arrived at the ancient city after midnight. In the morning, Rabiu took Oruru to the chief of a village in Tufa, Kura Local Government Area of Kano State.

Narrating her anguish amid sobs, Rose said the chief was furious with Rabiu for bringing her to Kano. He told them that Ese had been converted into Islam and renamed ‘Aisha.’ Not only that, the 14-year-old was married and that the child was no longer her daughter.
“He also informed us that Ese was in the custody of the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, at the palace,” she stated.

Not cowed by the chief’s position, Oruru, in company with Rabiu, approached the Emir of Kano’s palace but met a stiff opposition by many youths, who pushed them out of the palace.

Oruru said Yinusa (the suspect), through phone calls, informed her that he did not kidnap her daughter as he took permission from one Dan Kano before he abducted her.

Sensing the impossibility of seeing her daughter or having an audience with the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Oruru said she broke down in tears and drew a lot of attention. On hearing her cries, an unnamed elderly man invited the police.

Ese

She added:
“When the police arrived, they took me to Kwani Police Station in Kano, where my statement was taken and police officers accompanied me first to the Emir’s palace but we were prevented from entering the palace.

The police then proceeded to the house of the Galadima of Kano, who stated that he did not know anything about the matter. The team proceeded to see the adviser to the Emir, who told them that he did not want to be involved in the matter and then we went to the Secretary to the Emir of Kano.

“The secretary informed us that the Chief of Tufa village got an approval from Kura Police Station to take the 14-year-old Ese to the Emir’s Palace.

“They said Ese is now a convert of Islam and if brought to her mother, she would not be able to talk or touch her, otherwise, either she (the mother) or Ese would die. He advised that we waited till August 17 to see the Emir.”

Mrs. Oruru recounted that on August 17, she was with the Divisional Crime Officer, a Police Inspector from Kwani Police Station, and the Chief of Tufa village at the palace where the Emir of Kano sat in council.

“I saw my daughter being brought in a black Sport Utility Vehicle with two police escorts and Yinusa was also present. When the case was mentioned, every other person was allowed inside except me. When the DCO returned from the Emir’s court, he informed me that the Emir of Kano asked us to go to the Sharia Court, which I objected to.”

Mrs. Oruru added that the police at Kwani, thereafter, transferred the matter to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Kano, where she was asked to go back to Bayelsa and report the matter to the Bayelsa State Police Command.

She further said:
“We returned to Bayelsa on August 17 and we made a report at Ekeki Police Station, Yenagoa, and the matter was later transferred to State CID, Yenagoa.”
She stated that the police in Yenagoa made some arrests including Dan Kano, and a trip was embarked upon to Kano on September 2.

She said on the Kano trip were Dan Kano, K.C. Dahiru (the chairman of the Hausa community in Yenagoa), Mr. Charles Oruru (her husband) and two police officers from the State CID.

She said:
The team reported at the Kwani Police Station in Kano where another visit was made to the Emir of Kano. The Emir informed them that he had since August 26 sent a letter for the release of Ese to her parents.”
Ese’s mother lamented that despite all the efforts she, her husband, the police and others had made, as of February 23, Ese had not been released to them but still held hostage in Kano.

Ese’s father, Charles Oruru, struggled with tears as he narrated the pain and anguish he had gone through in trying to get his daughter back.
“We have tried all we could to get our daughter released to no avail. I am appealing to the Federal Government and the relevant authorities to intervene in the matter to get my daughter released. We do not want this to degenerate into a tribal crisis.”
The Orurus, in a bid not to leave any stone unturned, took the matter to non-governmental organisations, Kindling Hope Across Nations Initiative and Child Protection Network under the auspices of the UNICEF.

Ese's Parents

On what the NGOs have done so far, the Executive Director, KHAN Initiative, Mr. Kizito Andah, said after receiving the case, the organisation immediately swung into action by formally informing the Department of State Services.

He said several meetings were held in December 2015 with officers of the DSS, noting that the state security outfit made several promises to secure the release of the victim, but that up till date, Ese was still held hostage by the perpetrators.

Andah, who is also the Secretary, Child Protection Network, claimed that their coordinator also spoke with the Inspector-General of Police and the police boss gave his word that the girl would be returned to her parents. Yet, that had not been done.

He said:
“On February 11, we also held a meeting with the Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa State Police command, on the above subject matter and our grievances on the attitude of some of the police officers, who had earlier worked on the case and their failure to secure the release of Ese were duly communicated.

We strongly believe that Ese Oruru has not only been hypnotised but also recruited as a tool in the hands of a fanatical Islamic group in Kano State. Ese is only 14 years old and cannot give informed consent to marriage and is still being held hostage.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Oruru are petty traders who are putting in all efforts to meet the needs of their children. Securing the return of Ese would not only reaffirm our strong desire to continually protect our children, but also re-emphasise and stamp our indelible position against the acts of these culprits.”

Andah, therefore, called on all to join their voices to prevail on the Kano State Government and the Kano Emirate to urgently release Ese.

He demanded the prosecution of her abductors under the appropriate law and jurisdiction, saying the matter was of urgent national security and public interest.

Corroborating the position of Andah, the Chairperson, CPN, Mrs. Miriam Kombo-Eze, said they wrote letters to and met with many security agencies, including the Ijaw Youth Council over the matter.

Kombo-Eze said:
“The man that took away this girl and his cohorts collect these girls, who are underage children of 12 and 13 years from this state, convert them to Muslims and their parents can’t do anything about them.
They take permission from their leaders here in Bayelsa State. This is a national security problem.”
She said most parents had lost their children in similar circumstances and praised the parents of Ese for pursuing the release of their daughter.

She, therefore, urged parents to carefully monitor the kind of people that visit their homes and shops.

Responding to the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Bayelsa State Police Command, Mr. Asinim Butswat, said on Thursday that it was a case of elopement, and not abduction.

Butswat, who spoke in a telephone interview, said based on their findings, the boy in question (Yinusa) told the police that he and Ese had been married.

But when reminded that Ese was only 14 years old, and 13 when she was abducted, Butswat said the police were of the position that the issue of marriage did not arise in the matter.

He said the Bayelsa Command was working closely with its Kano counterpart to secure the release of the girl.

The police spokesman said:
“Based on our initial findings, it was not a case of abduction but that of elopement. Ese eloped with the boy (Yinusa) to Kano.

“Our operatives went for investigative activities in Kano and the boy in question said they were married. When our men went to the Sharia Council to secure her release, the council said they had not signed the necessary papers to let her go.

With the age of the girl, she is not of age for marriage, so the issue of marriage does not arise even though reports indicate that the girl is happy being there.
We want to assure the family that their daughter will soon be released to them. We are working closely with the Kano State Police Command to secure her release.”

When SUNDAY PUNCH contacted the Police Public Relations Officer, Kano State Command, Magaji Majia, on the telephone, he said:
“I have been making enquiries in Kano State Police Command; 72 police divisions, the state CID, the gender violence section; we don’t have such a case here in Kano.”
As of press time, the Turakin Kano, and Chief of Staff of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Mamuda Sanusi, could not be reached as calls placed to his telephone line did not connect, while text messages sent to his line had yet to be replied to.

Last Friday, a police source in Kano, who did not want to be named because he was not authorised to speak on the matter, confirmed to one of their correspondents on the telephone that Oruru was taken to the Emir’s palace sometime last year.

The source said Yinusa had complained to the Emir of Kano after his relations had been arrested by the police, following complaints from the girl’s parents.

“The matter was referred to us by the Emir of Kano. The man said the girl had converted to Islam and followed him to his hometown in Kano. I saw the girl myself here at Zone 1 headquarters, but we did not do any investigation on the matter.”

The source, however, did not mention the name of the hometown, but stated that Oruru is with Yinusa and his family in Kano.
“The Emir said that since she voluntarily said she wanted to be a Muslim and had converted to Islam, her parents should not force her, and that even though she is a minor, she should be allowed to practice whatever she wanted to practice. It was the girl that followed the man; she was not taken by force. Although, as a 13-year-old then, she is a minor in the eyes of the law; she has no consent. If she was an adult, she has the free will to go wherever she wants to go. But there was nothing like kidnapping.”
