The cause of Gia death was suicide, her boyfriend Ryan Anderson found her on Monday Night, report says Gia was on life support, and today it was withdrawn. she had suffered "critical loss of brain and organ function". her boyfriend and other family members where in the hospital when she died.

Although not all detail about the cause of her death has been released, report from multiple friends close to Gia implies that she had been extremely upset about a rocky relationship with Ryan Anderson her boyfriend.
