The US has recorded it's first case of Ebola.The patient was admitted at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas.The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed that ,an unidentified patient who recently returned from the West Africa area is currently being treated for the deadly virus at a Dallas, Texas hospital.According to NYDaily news,a press release by the hospital reads..

PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan, in Abuja, on Tuesday, restated the commitment of his administration to doing what is right to improve the living standard of the people.

Jonathan made the pledge while receiving the Primatial Award of Excellence in Christian Stewardship from the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), at the Presidential Villa.

He stated that the desired transformation of the country could be realised within a short period of time, if government continued to take critical steps in the right direction.

The president reiterated his position that the current challenges facing the country were temporary, adding that with the support and prayers of Nigerians, they would be over in no time.

Woman to be hanged after spending 7yrs in jail for killing man who tried to rape her

After seven years in prison,  26-year-old Iranian woman who killed a man she claims was trying to rape her will be hanged tomorrow morning. According to Amnesty International, Iranian authorities confirmed that Reyhaneh Jabbari will be hanged . Jabbari’s mother said today in a Facebook post that prison authorities told her she would have to go to the facility to 'collect the body' tomorrow.
