Police detain man for petitioning Enugu Commissioner of Police, Abubakar, to IG

A businessman, Mr Friday Nnaji , who petitioned the Inspector-General of Police against the Enugu State Commissioner of Police, Adamu Abubakar, has been detained by the police in Enugu.

Nnaji was clamped into detention along with Uwaezoke Agbo, Uchenna Okoh and Nwigwe Stanley on December 29, 2014.It was gathered that the police detained the petitioner because the petition reportedly embarrassed the CP.

Nnaji had in his petition, dated December 20, 2014, asked the IG to redeploy and investigate the CP for allegedly confiscating his family land and conspiring with hoodlums to kill his younger brother, Chinedu.

The Enugu indigene alleged that Abubakar sold the confiscated plots of land for N9m.

Ex-convict explains why he went back to robbery after his release from jail

                    

An ex-convict, Kazeem Kosemani (37), has been arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Special Anti-Robbery Squard (SARS). Sources said the suspect was arrested around Oshodi, Lagos while trying to buy an AK47 rifle in preparation for a robbery.The suspect, who described himself as an ex-convict, said:

A jilted teenager strangled his 15-year-old ex-girlfriend

Teen strangles 15-yr old ex-girlfriend after tracking her movements after using her Facebook posts to track her movements in Romania. Eduard Vaida, 17, began stalking Paula Dindiligan when she ended their two-year relationship alleging that he had hit her after becoming overly jealous. According to Dailymail, paula had caught a bus to her local skating rink and when she didn't return home that evening her parents raised the alarm in their hometown of Baia Sprie in northern Romania's Maramures County.

Police checked CCTV footage which showed that she had left the rink - and tracked her movements before eventually discovering her body on a patch of wasteland.
