Woman Buys Twins For N1.9m

                            

The police in Lagos State, western Nigeria, have arrested a 52-year old woman identified as Mrs. Olamide Bello for allegedly buying twin babies for N1.9 million.

According to, the suspect who resides at Adeniji Street, Meiran, a suburb of Lagos State, with her husband and step-children, told her husband, Mr. Wasiu Bello, that she was pregnant and that she has been instructed to go and deliver of the baby in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital in southern Nigeria.

American Idol cancelled as 15th season to be it's last.....


After struggling with ratings, the network announced Monday that 'American Idol' will go off the air after its 15th and final season next year. The cast from the past few seasons, with Ryan Seacrest as host and Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. as judges, will return for a season-long celebration of the show's history. 

First son of Nnamdi Azikiwe, Chukwuma dies at 75


The first son of first Nigerian Head of State, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Chief Bamidele Azikiwe has died at the age of 75. He died after long battle with a respiratory ailment at the Borommeo Hospital, Onitsha Anambra state on Sunday May 10th. Burial arrangements will be announced by his family. 

11 year old pregnant from rape wants child, sparking abortion debate

                          

This is not the child.....An 11-year old girl with intellectual and learning disabilities who was raped and became pregnant has indicated that she wants to keep the child. The unnamed Uruguayan girl is currently 16 weeks pregnant and, according to doctors and sources close to her family, she dreams of raising the baby with her attacker. The girl was allegedly raped by the 41-year-old grandfather of her half-sister, who was visiting the family in its Montevideo home. He has been detained and will be prosecuted for rape, Uruguayan officials told Agence France-Presse.

In Uruguay, abortion is legal up to 12 weeks of gestation and 14 weeks in the case of rape, but medical reports indicate that the girl does not have the capacity to understand the consequences of pregnancy and motherhood.

Four suspects in the deadly Lekki Phase 1 bank robbery arrested

    

Four suspects involved in the deadly Lekki Phase bank robbery in March which resulted in the death of five people, have been arrested by the police. According to reports, the suspects were arrested in Delta, Ogun, Lagos, Ondo and Osun states following a full-scale investigation launched by the police immediately after the incident.

Actress Regina Askia’s First Daughter Involved In Ghastly Auto Crash

                         

Former Nigerian actress and now a nurse in the US, Regina Askia is full of thanks to God for sparing the life of her daughter who was involved in a ghastly auto accident on Wednesday in Ivory Coast. Stephanie had gone to spend some time with her dad in Ivory Coast when the accident happened. Below is how Regina narrated it on her Facebook page;
