Fathia and Saidi Balogun now officially divorced

Gone with the wind!  ... Nollywood actor and producer, Saidi Balogun and actress, Faithia Balogun, who have been separated for the last few years, are now officially divorced. Both popular and successful players in the Yoruba section of Nigeria’s movie sector, they had separated for a while with accusations and counter accusations of cheating and infidelity but court papers have not surfaced regarding their divorce suit.

President Jonathan Officially Presents Handover Notes + takes Buhari on Aso Villa Tour

President Goodluck Jonathan has formally presented his hand over notes to president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari inside the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa today. This was done shortly after the president took Buhari round the seat of power.

Vice president Namadi Sambo also took vice-president-elect, Mr Yemi Osinbajo round his wing of the villa. Indeed the D-day is almost here.

#Clean-house !!! PDP expels Ararume, 19 others for alleged anti-party activities in Imo

The Imo State Chapter of the PDP has expelled Senator Ifeanyi Ararume and 19 others from the party over alleged anti-party activities during and after the 2015 general elections. In a statement signed by state party chairman, Chief Nnamdi Anyaehie, the party said after a full scaled investigation carried out, the expelled members were found guilty and expelled accordingly.

"After a full and exhaustive deliberation on the reports of the activities of the underlisted persons against the interest of our great party in the just-concluded general elections whose actions openly evidenced gross anti-party activities, the state executive committee at its meeting of Monday, May 24, 2015 accepts the report and recommendations and accordingly expels the under-listed from the party.” the statement read
