A 63-year-old retired soldier, jailed for life after infecting 10-yr old step-daughter with HIV

                                                   

Mr.Alabi Ibrahim, has been sentenced to life imprisonment after he defiled  his 10-year-old stepdaughter and infecting her with HIV.Ibrahim committed the crime in 2012 at his residence In his judgment, Justice A.A Akinyemi of the Ogun State High Court in Abeokuta, said :

Chicken and Turkey Prices Goes Up In Nigerian Market

Do we all just become vegetarians!!! Due to the fresh enforcement ban of frozen turkey and chicken which the Nigeria Customs Service flagged off on the 7th of July has made their prices go up by 35%. A kilo of turkey which normally sells for N750 at local stores and in the market in now N1,150 while a kilo of chicken which was N650 now sells for N1,050. A carton of turkey which was sold for N7,500 now goes for N11,000 while, a carton of chicken which was N6,500 is now N9,500.

A white man who was given a new liver from an African-American donor has claimed that his skin is starting to turn black since the operation. Semen Gendler was in urgent need of a liver after he was diagnosed with hepatitis C and cancer.The 65-year-old inventor was told by doctors his only hope was a liver transplant.

After speaking with contacts in the United States, he arranged to fly there from his home in Krasnodar in the Krasnodar Krai, south-western Russia, to have the operation.Mr Gendler said:

"Russian doctors made it quite clear to me that if I didn't have a liver transplant I would not live."I do a lot of business in the US with partners in New York, and I asked them to help me arrange for the operation where if you have enough money it is possible to do it more quickly than in Russia.
