Meet the Welder who beat his wife to death over alleged adultery

                                      

A welder ,Marufu Olasoji, has beaten his wife, Kehinde Olasoji, to death for allegedly committing adultery.It was learnt that the 35-year-old welder repeatedly hit the wife’s head with an iron until she gave up the ghost. He was said to have sprayed cement on her face and fled the neighbourhood, leaving her in a pool of blood. The incident happened around 8pm on Monday at the Chelsea neighbourhood of the Sango-Ota area. PUNCH Metro gathered that Marufu had turned Kehinde, a hairdresser, who had three children for him, to a punch bag while their 15-year relationship lasted. Our correspondent was told that the wife, aged 35, left the welder with her children three months ago when she could no longer endure the assault.

A part-time lecturer, raped an 18 year old admission seeker in Lagos

                                     

Afeez Baruwa,has been arrested for allegedly raping an 18-year-old girl, identified as Caroline in the Yaba area.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the victim, who was reportedly raped inside a study room, was seeking admission into the University of Lagos, Akoka.

It was gathered that Baruwa was arrested by the Surulere Police Division on Monday, August 3.

Our correspondent gathered that the lecturer, however, told the police in his statement that the sexual intercourse was by mutual consent, insisting that he did not rape the victim.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the lecturer and Caroline’s father belonged to the same landlords’ association in the Abesan, Ipaja area.

Undergraduate killed by suspected cultist in Imo

Suspected cultists yesterday August 4th shot dead a student of the Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, AIFUE ,in Owerii Imo state. The cult members reportedly pursued the victim from the school premises into the Federal Medical Center Owerri where he was shot at close range. He died instantly. His body has been deposited at the morgue while police have started investigations into the killing.

A 29-year-old fashion designer Discharges 44 wraps of cocaine at Lagos Airport

                                 

Okechukwu Kingsley Ajaero was apprehended by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for being in possession of forty-four (44) wraps of cocaine weighing 850grammes.

Ajaero was arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos during the inward screening of passengers on a Qatar Airline flight.He excreted all 44 wraps of cocaine.

4 Family Member Murdered in Gruesome Witchcraft Ritual

                                  

Three people have been found dead inside of a home on Deerfield Drive in Pensacola....Officials say when Deputies responded to the home for a welfare check on Friday, they discovered the bodies....The victims have been identified as 77-year-old Voncile Smith, 47-year-old John William Smith and 49-year-old Richard Thomas Smith. Officials believe the three may have been victims of a horrific witchcraft ritual.

Authorities said all 4 bodies were found with their throats slit, beaten with a claw hammer. Officials also said the crime may have occurred on the night of a blue moon.
