A 40yr old man narrates how he was wrongfully imprisoned for 15 years

A 40yr old man identified as Effiong Elemi-Edu has narrated how he was imprisoned for 15 years for the murder of politician, Alfred Rewane, which it was later discovered that he was not to involved in.

Narrating his ordeal to Aljazeera, Effiong  who is from Cross Rivers, said on October 6th 1995 in the Ikeja part of Lagos state, he had gone out to buy suya for himself and his wife when suddenly he heard gunshots. According to him, he took cover and later decided to run to his house. As he made the move to run home, he was halted by an order from a police officer.

"I stopped. There were police officers, lots of them."

They asked him where he was going and he told them but instead of letting him go on his way, the officers pushed him into their vehicle and accused him of being an armed robber.

Michelle Wilkins was eight-months pregnant when she went to the home of Dynel Lane after answering a Craigslist post advertising maternity clothing and was attacked. 

Mrs Wilkins wept as she shared her story with Dr. Phil and described the horrific attack that resulted in the death of her unborn child.

She described how she entered the house and was given the maternity clothes. She was just about to leave when Lane asked her to see some baby girls clothes which she said she didn't need. Out of politeness she stayed, and Lane shut the door behind her. It was then that she said Lane attacked.

The guy above is named Quadri he is an alleged cultist, he was killed in the very early hours of today and dumped in front of Yaba College of Technology. He had multiple stab wounds from most likely a broken bottle. His killers also opened his stomach. The photos are extremely gory. I'm trying to get more details about what happened from my source. Elderly Woman was allegedly flogged 12 strokes over witchcraft allegation in Sokoto

A 65 year old woman identified as Zainab Labbo was allegedly flogged with twelve strokes as punishment for practicing witchcraft in Isa Local Government Area of Sokoto state.

According to The Sun, Zainab was flogged at the palace of the District Head, Alhaji Nasiru Malami Ahmed, in response to a complaint lodged against her by her daughter-in-law. Residents of the community say Zainab's daughter-in-law had lodged a complaint before the district head last year, alleging that her mother-in-law was aiding her son to maltreat her through diabolical means.

The palace authority summarily tried the accused and found her guilty of the allegation leveled against her. Zainab denied the allegation to journalists who were there to investigate the incident. She also confirmed that twelve strokes were administered on her by the palace guards on the order of the District Head.
