According to a report in the Times of India, the incident occurred on Sunday morning at Mahesh building, Ostwal Nagri, Nalasopara.

Michael Chukwuma Nwabu (22) was part of the 34th birthday celebrations of Obinna Durumchukwu (victim) on Saturday night.

The party went on till 9 am in the morning. Both of them proceeded to play football in the common balcony on the building's third floor.

The two were drunk and some time between 9.30 and 10 am, an argument broke out about who was the best footballer. Obinna supported Argentina and Barcelona striker Lionel Messi, while Nwabu argued that Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid and Portugal star) was better.

Verbal abuses began to fly thick and fast, and Nwabu hit Obinna, who threw a glass tumbler at him in retaliation. The tumbler missed Nwabu’s head and smashed on the wall instead. Incensed, Nwabu picked up a broken glass shard and rammed it into Obinna's throat, reports TOI.

"After Ocholi, A Governor May Die Next"- Apostle Johnson Suleiman

As a few of his predictions seem to have come to pass, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, has urged Nigerians to pray ceaselessly..

In his new year predictions released in December 2015, Apostle Suleman stated that Nigeria would witness serious political developments.

He said some ministers would be absent from cabinet meetings in 2016 due to health related issues while some won’t return alive.

Expressing sadness on the death of Ocholi on Sunday, Suleman, reiterated his charge on Nigerians to pray ceaselessly for themselves and office holders.

Speaking through his media manager, Folorunsho Hamsat, Suleman specifically called for divine intervention “so that a sitting state Governor would not die before the year runs out.”

“The apostle received the news with sadness and again stated that a governor may die next.

“He will speak to the public soon but for now, his condolence on Mr. James Ocholi’s death goes to the federal government, the people of Kogi, his friends, family, staff and others touched by the unfortunate incident,” Hamsat said.

Recall that shortly after President Buhari was elected, Apostle Suleiman had predicted that Nigerians may be forced to hurl stones at the president in frustration if they did not see the highly publicized change by the new government. Judging by the current economic situation in the country, one may say that the cleric was right because the government has faced severe criticisms over the persistent economic hardship in the country.

How we Planned Kidnap of Three Lagos Schoolgirls - Prime Suspect Confesses

The prime suspect in the kidnap of the three girls of Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Emmanuel Arigidi(pictured) has narrated how they plotted the kidnap of the girls.

Arigidi, 37, from Ondo State, said they were 12 in number who planned the operation, but noted that one of them, Lamiameni, was the one who brought the deal, which was planned at Majidun area of Lagos.

“We are 12 in number that carried out the operation. We planned the operation in Majidun and after that, we went to Maya bridge to enter Canoe and went to the school around 8pm. After we gained entrance into the school, we took away three girls and we took them to our hideout,” he said.

He added that along the line, he had misunderstanding with other members of the gang, as he insisted that the girls should be returned to where they were kidnapped due to the tight security system in Lagos State.

“But along the line, we had disagreement between ourselves and I was actually the one that started it. I told other members of the gang that what we have done is not good and that I don’t like it. I know that security in Lagos State is now tight and I was telling others that there was no way we would get away with this kind of job considering the level of security in the state.

”When I told them that we should end the assignment, other members of the gang threatened to kill me and then I took Canoe to run away. Three days after I ran away, operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) then arrested me somewhere in Majidun and that was how I told them how we planned the attack,” he narrated.
Arigidi added that:
“One thing I will like to say is that if not for the fact that I was arrested, they would not have seen the girls because I was the one who revealed everything to the police.”
The prime suspect, who said he is a traditional bone setter, said the leader of the gang is called Felix who hails from Edo State, saying that he had not been arrested as he had escaped into the forest with other members of the gang.

He stated that three local guns and four rifles were used in the operation, which he said were brought in by Felix.
