I Will Deal With Toyin Aimakhu Wherever I Set My Eyes On Her - Seun Egbegbe Says

Even though actress Toyin Aimakhu has clearly moved on, her estranged lover, Seun Egbegbe is still granting interviews and speaking about how the actress allegedly hurt him.
In an interview culled from Punch, Mr Seun kept to his last threat that no Yoruba movie producer must deal with Toyin Aimakhu or they will have themselves to blame and also made a new threat saying, he will definitely deal with her wherever he sets his eyes on her. He then gave another shocker when asked why he started flaunting his relationship with the actress shortly after she broke up with her husband, saying to his best of his knowledge, himself and Toyin’s estrange husband, Niyi Johnson are friends and even greet when they spot each other. Lobatan! The interview after the cut.

By the way, I am off to church. Don’t wanna be late today as usual, not so good as a child of God especially when you claim you love Him. Let’s all go praise his Holy name, and thank him for all He has done. Our being alive is because He is God. Cheers!

Why haven’t you considered going into acting since you have become quite popular lately?

I have never been tempted to act because I don’t feel like. I prefer to stay behind the scenes because I am very shy and reserved.

What projects are you currently working on?

I produced a lot of movies last year and one of them, Street Boys, will be released this month. I also shot another movie titled Odale in Lagos and Dubai; I flew my cast and crew there. I featured Kunle Afod, Toyin Aimakhu and several other actors. I shot the movie last November. Toyin and I were still lovers at that time. The alleged kidnapping episode happened this year.

Did you really kidnap her?

I do not want to dwell so much on it because I have read the Riot Act to Yoruba film producers. I said none of them must feature her in their films. It is not a threat but a promise because I will take it up with anyone who does otherwise. I am also angry because I was accused wrongly; she told the whole world that I kidnapped her.

What could have prompted her to make up such a story?

I really do not understand what went wrong. The day she claimed I kidnapped her, I went out and left her in my house. Earlier, she had informed me that she would be at a movie location at Oshodi to take part in a movie produced by a Yoruba actress, Kemi Korede. I then asked her to drop the keys to the house with the security guard. Barely two hours later, I started receiving telephone calls from many people who kept asking me if there was a problem. At about the same time ,some people said, “Your rubbish wife posted a video of herself crying on Instagram.” I was confused and I decided to check Instagram. I called her immediately and told her that she had taken the ‘acting’ too far and people would misinterprete the post. I pleaded with her to take down the post as a sign of respect for me, her boyfriend.

What did you do next?

I boarded a cab to meet with her at the movie location. I had to go in a taxi because because my Range Rover SUV was in her possession. Immediately I saw her, I asked her to take down the post. She refused, so I seized her phones and went home. She didn’t return home that day and I did not set my eyes on her again until after three days. Suddenly, it was all over social media that I kidnapped Toyin.

What happened when she returned?

She came home with a man and for six hours he tried to make peace. I returned her phones and she denied ever  putting up the post in question. She said her personal assistant must have done it without her consent. I pleaded with her to pull down the post but all she has done till date is give flimsy excuses.

Did the both of you have a disagreement before this incident?

We didn’t quarrel. A few days before the incident, she complained about my attitude towards her and sent me a text to that effect. I responded by telling her that I was only having some personal challenges, which had nothing to do with her.

Why were you really bothered about the Instagram post?

I feel she had an ulterior motive and was simply looking for a way to end the relationship. If she wanted to pull out of the relationship, she could have done so in a mature manner. I don’t think every relationship must lead to marriage. We were just lovers. A few days ago someone posted, “If Toyin returns, are you sure you won’t kidnap her again?” on my Instagram account. I felt so bad because I know nothing about it.

What will you do if you come across each other?

I am not on speaking terms with her any longer and whenever I lay my eyes on her, I won’t take it easy with her.

You say you have known for her 15 years.

Yes, that is true. Toyin is a very good woman and she has been very nice to me. We dated in the past.

Why didn’t you marry her?

Like I said earlier, not every relationship leads to marriage. We parted ways and came back after 15 years. That definitely means that God wants to do something in our lives.

You granted an interview where you reportedly said she has an insatiable sexual appetite. Did you really say that?

I never said such. I already sent her a text to explain that I never said so. I don’t talk that way and she is aware that I could not have said such. She didn’t respond but I am very sure she received the message because her publicist acknowledged it.

Since you claim to really like her, don’t you think asking producers not to feature her in films could affect her career?

I really like her, but how could someone I loved hurt me in this manner?

Do you have the powers to prevent producers from featuring her in movies?

Where were these producers when Toyin acted in a brash manner? Since she exercised her powers, I will exercise mine as well. Perhaps when things go out of hand, they will invite both of us to talk it over.

Were you planning to marry her?

You do not plan to marry an individual. We were taking it one step at a time. Considering what she did to me, I feel the love she had for me was fake.

But you flaunted your romance with her shortly after she separated from her husband.

That is not the issue or point on ground.

Your relationship with her was very controversial.

It is a normal thing. It was expected but we both knew what we wanted from each other as two mature adults.

Has it affected your business?

It hasn’t affected my business; nothing can affect my business or cash flow. There is no day I don’t receive mean messages from her followers and fans. It affects me but I don’t give a hoot.

If she apologises, will you reconcile with her?

The point is that I will never take her back. At best, we can remain as best friends but she must correct that impression. God Almighty will definitely reward Toyin.

Have you ever been married and do you have children?

I have never been married and I don’t have children.

Are you seeing someone else at the moment?

I’m all about my business for now.

Will you date another celebrity after this episode?

Celebrities are also human beings. If I find a God-fearing celebrity whom I love and I can handle, I will definitely date her.

Have you spoken with her ex-husband?

I don’t have any business with Niyi. Whenever we see each other, we are friendly.

Photo : Lightning kills Two Women During Prayer Session in Church

In a bizarre case of ill fate, two women, 25-year-old Chioma Jonathan and Chinonye Anyanwu, 26, both died when they were struck by lightning.

The unfortunate incident happened when the two women went to participate in the regular Holy Ghost Hour prayer session of Heavenly Sure Charismatic Church, a Pentecostal church, usually held in the premises of Comprehensive Secondary School, Emekuku in Owerri North LGA, Imo State.

25-year-old Chioma Jonathan was a native of Obiangwu in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area and Chinonye Anyanwu, aged 26, from Ahiazu Mbaise LGA, both in Imo State.

Also affected in the lightning strike was the 54-year-old General Overseer of the church, Pastor Luke Nwokocha, who led the short-lived prayer session. He temporarily lost consciousness and was rushed to a hospital by his wife and another member of the church, where he was revived. In addition, he sustained injuries on his leg.

At the headquarters of the police command in Imo State, Pastor Nwokocha recounted to Sunday Sun, what happened.

“We always have fellowship every Tuesday. On the fateful day, we had our ‘Holy Ghost Hour’. We were five members in the church. The two deceased sisters, including the sister that swept the church premises; Evangelist Solomon and myself were arranging the benches. Around 4.30pm heavy rain started falling. I started praying for the programme.”
Then there was a sudden lightning flash followed by the deafening sound of thunder. The two women, who were in the direct path of the electric field created by the lightning flash died instantly, when they were struck by the streak. Nwokocha, who apparently was off the direct path of the streak received a much lower jolt of electricity, which, however, was strong enough to throw him across the room, cause temporary loss of consciousness and physical injuries on his leg and hands.
“My wife, Pastor Eucharia Nwokocha and the other church member rushed me to the hospital for medical treatment,” he said.

Nwokocha who hails from Umuakuru Emekuku in Owerri North LGA further explained:
“I have been in this ministry for 26 years. I have never experienced anything like this. I was called into ministry in 1990. Until that time, I was a policeman and served in the Imo State Police Command and retired at Akwa Ibom Police Command in July 2007. Following my retirement, I decided to focus on my ministry fulltime. I do not understand how it happened, its only God who understands and knows all.”

Following the incident, the elder brother of Chioma Jonathan reported the case to the Owerri North Divisional Police Station, from where the case was transferred to the homicide department at the headquarters of the Imo State Police Command, Owerri, the state capital.

The Commissioner of Police, Taiwo Lakanu who confirmed the incident said it was a strange occurrence. He added that the cleric was undergoing interrogation at the State Criminal Investigation Department while the corpses of the dead women had been deposited at the mortuary of the Holy Rosary Hospital, Emekuku.

One of the elders of Emekuku community, Godwin John told Sunday Sun that the whole thing was a mystery.

“We know Pastor Luke usually holds the ‘Holy Ghost Hour’ prayer session. What happened to Pastor Luke Nwokocha and the lightning strike that killed two members of his church is an abomination. We will consult the elders,” he said.

Meanwhile Lakanu has reassured relations of the deceased women(photo below) that proper investigation would be carried out by the officer in charge of the homicide section of State Criminal Investigation Department, Supol Innocent Obi, who is working hard with the detectives under him to ensure that there is no miscarriage of justice.

Agree? ''Best Way to End R*pe in Nigeria is by Cutting Off Rapi*ts' Genitals'' - Senator Ita Giwa Says

Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, yesterday, said the best way to end rape and sexual assault in the country is by ensuring convicted rapists get capital punishment which does not entail killing them but cutting off their genitals.

Ita-Giwa, who represented Cross River in the Senate and later served as Special Adviser on  National Assembly Matters to former President Goodluck Jonathan, spoke as  a special guest at ‘Magnenta and Black Art & Fashion for Charity’

She  maintained that throwing child- rapists into prison is not enough justice but cutting off their genitals will ensure they do not use them on other children. Making reference to accounts of rape by two survivors at the event, the senator said:
“The lady said she was happy that she got justice for her  four-year-old daughter who was raped by two men but, in my mind, if I were a judge and a man is brought to court for raping a child, he will receive capital punishment. But I will say, `don’t kill him, rather let him live his life in pain, let his organ be cut off’.

He should not be allowed the pleasure of using that organ anymore. If the organ is not cut off, at the end of his term in prison, he will use it on other children. Fortunately for them, I’m no longer in the Senate  but I will find a way to get it into the chamber. This is the proper way to end the evil of rape in the society”.

My Secret Marriage to Idris - US Lawyer Who Became Idris Elba's Second Wife Reveals

Only a few weeks ago, popular Hollywood actor Idris Elba walked out on Naiyana Garth, the British mother of his two-year-old son.
Now the second wife he secretly married and divorced, Sonya Hamlin has stepped forward with a story of her own.
Hamlin is a property lawyer whom Elba was married to for just a few weeks before, he told her that he couldn't continue being married to her because she would get in the way of his career. She said:

‘People were telling him he was going to ruin his career'. ‘He was being told it was an important part of his image to be a single sex symbol in Hollywood and being married would damage that'.
‘It was very sad. Idris and I were madly in love, but he was getting a lot of flak for being married. Everyone was like, “Dude, you’re the hottest sex symbol!”
‘“It wasn’t the right look”, that’s what they were telling him. I wanted to save the marriage.’

The two had met in 2006 after Idris had been divorced from his first wife and had already made a name for himself in the US, through his role on The Wire. However, Hamlin said she was a good catch either. She said she was an accomplished and ambitious lawyer, and seemed to represent the better life to which Elba, who was born in a Hackney tower block, aspired.

'I didn’t really know who he was,’ says Sonya, who studied law in London and Washington. ‘My friend just said he was a really nice guy. He wasn’t a superstar back then. Living in Maryland I was vaguely familiar with The Wire, but I didn’t know who he was.
‘We met at a crowded gathering with a few other people,’ she recalls. ‘But we hit it off. We meshed very well. He’s not shy and neither am I, and we fell very much in love with each other.’

After a whirlwind romance, they moved in together in Maryland.
‘We went on normal dates – dinner, movies – and we used to have fun in the house,’ she says.
‘We used to co-ordinate our outfits when we dressed. And he was a very good cook. If we woke on a Sunday morning we might go out to brunch, or stay at home and make breakfast. Idris loved eggs and porridge, or would cook Jamaican food: he loved aki and saltfish.
‘He’s a homebody. He didn’t like to be out at night. He loves to watch TV, and listen to music. We were very casual. We’d lounge around in jeans and a T-shirt.’
Then on April 8, 2006, they jetted off to Las Vegas, Nevada, to watch the Floyd Mayweather Jnr vs Zab Judah boxing match. It was there that Idris persuaded Sonya to elope for a secret marriage the following day.
‘We didn’t go to Vegas with plans on getting married,’ she says. ‘We were just chilling on sun-loungers early in the day by the pool. I was drinking a Mimosa, and we were talking, and were both in a great mood.

‘We had talked about marriage before and how we would want to keep it plain and simple.
‘We had been together several months already, and knew it was right. We were both madly in love by then, and we were like, “Let’s just do it!” We were both excited. It was a mutual decision. As far as we were concerned, we were going to spend the rest of our lives together.’

The went to a jewellery store in the hotel where they were staying. ‘He got me a beautiful diamond ring,’ she says.
‘We picked it and it was not cheap. He was generous.’ Then they went to the courthouse where they picked a marriage license then got married at a wedding chapel.

She believes Elba was also swayed by his friends who felt that he should have a bombshell young starlet by his side, rather than a property lawyer, who looked ordinary.

Only six weeks after tying the knot, Elba decided he wanted to end it all. Sonya sighs:
‘Some people used to say, “Why her?” That’s what they were telling him. It used to upset him. He was like, “Why don’t people just let me be happy?”
‘I couldn’t understand how it would damage his career because I saw actors like Denzel Washington be successfully married. But I don’t think those actors’ wives are running law firms.’
She said she has since moved on and wishes him well.
