See Update On Man Attempting Suicide in Lagos(Photos)

 Authorities, including PHCN officials and the Lagos state Fire service have been called to the scene where an unknown man is attempting to commit suicide at Adebisi Oguniyi Crecent Lekki Ikate Round.

 According to one twitter user @Kenegbas, who shared new photos, officials from both agencies appear to be at a loss as to how to rescue the man from the electric pole. Residents of the area have now provided Inflatable trampoline so the man can jump down. The man has refused to come down...

Woman Sets House On Fire, Kills Herself And Two Children After Fight With Husband

 A 37-year-old Caroline Wanjiru(Pictured above) is alleged to have locked the gate to her residence, then took her kids to the bedroom where she doused them with petrol and set them on fire. Grace Murugi, 9, and Paul Macharia, 2, were charred beyond recognition alongside their mother who is said to have been fought with her man prior to the incident.The husband, a senior banker was away at the time of the accident.

 Neighbors who went to the residence to put out the fire had a hard time as the place had been locked and they had to break down the gate. The three were dead before the fire was put out.

A car had been parked close to the gate making it impossible to open the gate even after breaking the lock.

Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Attack Community in Zamfara, Kill 7

 At least seven people were killed with many others injured after suspected herdsmen launched an attack on Madada and Ruwan Tofa villages in Zamfara state yesterday May 4th.

 Confirming the attacks, the state police command's spokesperson, Sanusi Amiru, said a group of suspected herdsmen attacked Madada village to steal petrol from the residents while another group attacked Ruwan Tofa village, killing some people. Both incidents recorded high number of injured persons The police say they are working to restore law and order in both villages.

 Nollywood star, John Okafor, popularly called ‘Mr Ibu’ had a minor car crash recently.

 The comic actor’s white BMW SUV was crashed after a minor accident along Lekki-Ikoyi roundabout in Lagos.

Suicidal Man Climbs Electric Pole In Lekki, Says He Won't Come Down Until He Gets N5m(Video)

 An unknown man climbed an electrical pole at Adebisi Oguniyi Crecent Lekki Ikate Round About, this morning, saying he wanted to commit suicide. When persuaded to come down, he said he would only do that if he gets N5million. Policemen from Maroko Divisio arrived at the scene but didn't know how to bring him down and so left.
