"We Will Cause Destruction Which Will Shock The World" - Niger Delta Avengers Warns

 Niger Delta Avengers, a new group operating under the guise of militancy have over the weeks launched multiple attacks on oil and gas installations in the Niger Delta region, struck again today .

The group announced its latest assault on Friday, saying it blew up a gas and crude trunk line belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, in Warri, Delta State, late Thursday.

They have also warned of an upcoming attack which they promise will 'shock the world'.

This alarming announcement, which in my opinion, the government should take very seriously was made on Twitter this morning.

Photos : Fire Engulfs Female Hostel at Cross River State College of Education

 A student has been reportedly hospitalized following a fire outbreak at the Cross River State College of Education, COE Akamkpa female hostel today, May 27. 

According to CrossRiverWatch, the fire started at about 11am in the change-over switch at the hostel entrance and caused extensive damage to the building and property of the residents with no immediate help or means of putting off the inferno.

"The fire extinguishers at the hostel were empty at the time of the fire incident. It was after this event that the College Management bought new ones just today" CRW reports.

The Deputy Provost, Dean of Students Affairs, Hostel Supervisors and some lecturers rushed to the scene of the incident after the fire outbreak. Fortunately, most of the students had gone for lectures or there would have been serious fatalities.

One of the female students who was sleeping in the hostel while the fire was raging fainted as a result of smoke and was rushed to the hospital.

The Hostel Porter while speaking to CrossRiverWatch said, 

"The incidents is as a result of electricity upsurge. Yesterday the engineer tried to pump the uncharged water tap, but could not pump water, so he left without informing the management that there is electricity fault, so the next morning when the generator was powered, it resulted to this incident that has now inconvenienced all the dwellers in the female hostel B’"

Husband Shoots Doctor Who Delivered His Wife's Baby Because he saw her Naked

 Police have arrested a man after he shot a male doctor shortly after he helped deliver his wife’s baby.

The husband was angry that the hospital had allowed a male doctor to attend to his wife during birth.

 The crazy husband is believed to have wanted a female doctor to deliver the baby and was upset that the male doctor identified as Muhannad al-Zabn, would have seen his wife without clothes. 

 The baby was born in April at King Fahad Medical City in Saudi city of Riyadh, according to Gulf News. But after the birth, the man reportedly travelled to the hospital and contacted Dr al-Zabn for a quick chat. 

 The man said he wanted to thank Dr al-Zabn for delivering his wife's baby without any major complications. After meeting in the hospital's garden, the man reportedly pulled out a handgun and shot Dr al-Zabn. Following the attack, the father ran from the scene but was later tracked down and arrested by Saudi police.

 Dr al-Zabn was taken to the hospital’s intensive care unit and is now in a stable condition, recuperating.

Armed Robber Made to Strip & run Naked Through the Streets by Woman he Attacked but Overpowered him(Photos)

 A woman got instant revenge on a robber when she successfully overpowered him and gave him a taste of his own pill when he tried to rob her with a knife.

  The incident which unfolded in Bogota, Colombia was captured on video and uploaded to liveleak. Footage shows the victim grabbing the young offender by the hair after he tried to rob her with a knife.

After disarming the attacker, she screams at him and slaps in around the head before searching his pockets and ordering him to kneel down.

He begs for mercy but she's having none of it and orders him to strip as crowds gather around.

His humiliation is complete when he runs off naked clutching his private parts  with the sound of cheering crowds ringing in his ears.
