Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has split from his wife.The Gunners chief and long term lover Annie, 59, are said to have agreed a financial package and divided up their assets.  The couple, who have an 18-year-old daughter have not been pictured together since 2013. He has previously admitted that his high pressured job with the London club had put pressure on his relationship.

According to Uk Mirror,a  source said Wenger, 65, and Annie, who married in December 2010 after a long term relationship, had “not been happy for a while”.

A woman named Faith Nuhu and five others who specialised in child kidnapping and sale of children were paraded at the Abuja police headquaters.

According to Daily Sun, the suspects, among them, a medical doctor, were arrested after Faith Nuhu, kidnapped three of her sister’s children but ended up selling two of them at N600,000 to one Evelyn Ojiaku, who operates an illegal maternity home at Owerri, Imo State.

Landlord allegedly stabs his tenant over a girl in Edo

Doctors at the Central Hospital in Benin City are battling to save the life of one Alex Aigbogun who was stabbed in the stomach by his landlord, simply identified as Enogieru.

The victim was brought to the hospital at about 9:00am Wednesday by policemen in a Hilux van.

Eyewitnesses said the incident occurred at about 12:00midnight, but the victim’s family has no vehicle or money to take him to the hospital.

A neighbor to the victim said police told them there was no fuel in their vehicle to convey the victim to the hospital and that was why the victim was covered with cloth till daybreak.

30-year-old Beninoise, Samuel Francis, stabbed to death 35-year-old Clement Houme, during a scuffle for a birthday pig. PUNCH Metro learnt that Samuel had been contracted by a relative of the deceased, identified as Victoria, to kill the pig for her birthday celebration.On arriving at the Abule area with his brother, Jeff Francis, the deceased was reported to have challenged them on where they got the pig from. Huome reportedly accused them of stealing the pig.

Our correspondent learnt that an argument ensued among the three men, and in the ensuing scuffle, Samuel stabbed the victim with the knife he brought to slaughter the pig.

Traditional Herbal Doctor sells 1 week old baby for N300,000

Lagos state police have arrested Mr. Olawale Onalaja, a traditional-medicine doctor for allegedly selling a one week-old baby to a couple Dele and Oluwakemi Ayangbile, for N300,000 in Iyana Ipaja, Lagos.

It was learnt that the 29 year old mother of the baby, Idiat Babatunde, had her baby on September 5th. Then on Sept 13th, she had a misunderstanding with her Husband, Akinola Babatunde, and because she had to travel to school for her convocation, she took the 8 days old baby to Onalaja, who was supposed  to be a family friend and asked him to watch the infant until she returned from school, a Polytechnic in Osun State.

However, as soon as she left, he contacted the Ayangbiles and sold the baby to them for N300,000.
