Most people assume that getting a job in the UK is as easy as buying a bottle of water my dear friends shred that assumption away and wake up. What most people fail to realize is that a lot of things are brought to question in UK and after finding a job; it takes the same amount of time spent on looking for job to go through the different stages of training for the job.
No matter the kind of job you are applying for, be it cleaning, receptionist, banker, customer assistant, support worker u name it. These are the documents needed before u start training for a particular job.
1. NI as it’s popularly called (National Insurance) this for tax deduction.
2. CRB as it’s popularly called (Criminal Record Bureau) this is to prove you either have a criminal record or you don't.
3. Health History this documents consists of all the disease in the world u can think of and you require a note from your GP clearing you of all illness.
4. You are also required to provide a proof of residence this document can be inform of bank statement where your billing address is the same as your shipping address.
5. A work permit which states the working hours u are entitled to weekly or monthly.
6. Some offices ask for birth certificates, marriage license etc.
NB: keep in mind that 1/3 of this documents are paid for, at the end of the day u spend nothing less than 500pounds for all these documents and the job u are applying for pays 6.50pounds an hour, and anyone who spent that much intends to recover it back which means u will have to work overtime to cover your expenses. This is disastrous!! I can’t seem to understand why people believe the UK flows with milk and honey. Note that all theses process applies to international students studying abroad.
Chaiii do you still think it easy to get a job a UK?
