As the death toll now hits 59,with eight more bodies pulled overnight from the rubble of a collapsed guesthouse at the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Lagos Ibrahim Farinloye, southwest coordinator for the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), told AFP that a woman walked out of the rubble with only a broken wrist today,Tuesday.
“A woman of about 45 years old walked out of the rubbles on her own around 2 a.m today, while 10 more bodies were recovered, leaving 59 dead and 131 rescued alive.She was able to walk away from the collapse with just a broken wrist. It’s going to be slower because we believe we can recover more people alive by the grace of God,”
A total of 131 people were injured in the collapse of the hostel, which housed Nigerian and foreign followers of TB Joshua.
