Gone with the wind! ... Nollywood actor and producer, Saidi Balogun and actress, Faithia Balogun, who have been separated for the last few years, are now officially divorced. Both popular and successful players in the Yoruba section of Nigeria’s movie sector, they had separated for a while with accusations and counter accusations of cheating and infidelity but court papers have not surfaced regarding their divorce suit.
Justice Oluwafunmilayo Olajumoke Atilade, now the Chief Judge of Lagos State, who presided over the case, granted the divorce and awarded Saidi unrestrained access to the couple’s kids. Now that they are legally divorced, it remains to be seen if Saidi will now go after his former wife for using his surname, Balogun as he once threatened. ...
