What/How does it feel to sleep on a 50million naira bed who knows???? only the Immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Kayode John Fayemi knows .....he explained why he built the multi-mullion naira controversial Government House in the state. The governor has been under attack lately for lavishing the state funds on the government lodge. His predecessor, Ayo Fayose had claimed that the governor bought two beds for N50 million naira.

However, embattled Fayemi in a publication that showcased his achievements in Ekiti, explained why he embarked on the project.

District Pastor arrested for snatching cars at gunpoint

A district pastor of a church in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, has been remanded by a Lagos Magistrate’s Court sitting in Ikeja.The 37-year-old pastor, Adebambo Adetunji, was alleged to be one of the gang members, who robbed motorists at the Ojota Bus stop, between April and July, 2014.

 Punch learnt that Adetunji and other suspects, who were still on the run, were notorious for snatching cars and robbing victims of their valuables at gun point.

Our correspondent gathered that a Toyota Camry and a Mercedes Benz ML320 , were diverted by the suspected robbers, who were said to have also used cutlasses in their operations.

Could This be law !!!! Armed Robber Sentenced To Death By Hanging For Stealing ₦9,000 In Lagos

A Lagos High Court, Igbosere, on Wednesday sentenced an armed robber to death by hanging for disposing his victim of N9, 000.

The convict, ‎Onyekachi Abazu, reportedly robbed one Obioma Obiekwe of her N9, 000 and a BMW car marked CM659JJJ, at a gun point. He committed the offence with others at large on June 13, 2007 at Gowon Estate, Ipaja‎.

Abazu was arraigned by the Lagos State Government on January 9, 2008, before Justice ‎Morenike Obadina on two- count charge of conspiracy and armed robbery under Sections 403 (A) and 402(2)(A) of the Criminal Code, Laws of Lagos, 2003.
