Happy 53rd Independence Day Nigeria. All Nigerians should pray for good government and for God's mercies on us and bless us, and cause our face to shine upon us, and that our ways be known on earth, and salvation among all nations.
In the spirit of celebrating Nigeria’s Independence, awarding singer Yemi Alade presents ‘Arise, O Compatriots (Nigerian National Anthem)’ lifted off her ‘Aristo Music: Mixtape’ which will drop after her debut album. The ‘Bamboo’ beauty shows vocal restraint accompanied by a piano, she soulfully sings the first and second stanzas of the anthem. She wishes everyone a Happy Independence Day, praying for a prosperous and united Nigeria despite our religious/ethnic differences as she shares two tribes.
