GIAMA AWARDS!!! Chigozie Atuanya's 'Chetanna' Wins Best Indigenous Film....


Chigozie Atuanya's Igbo language movie, Chetanna, won the award for Best Indigenous Film at the Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards (GIAMA), which took place last Saturday (October 25), in Houston. The movie made history earlier this year, when it became the first Igbo language movie to be premiered in the United States. 


It was premiered on July 25 at the Igbo World Festival of Arts and Culture, which was held at the Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton, Virginia. Chetanna is one of the most anticipated language movies of this year, and it stars Chigozie Atuanya, Queen Nwokoye, Ebube Nwagbo, and Ebele Okaro-Onyiuke. It was produced by Chigozie Atuanya, and directed by Ikechukwu Onyeka. 

The movie is currently on a tour of the United States, and it was premiered in Houston on October 11. Movie fans are eagerly anticipating the premiere of the movie in Nigeria, which will take place before the end of the year. The movie will be premiered in Lagos, Awka, Aba, Enugu, Owerri, and Umuahia.
