Fire Outbreak kills INEC Resident Commissioner and his family in their home

The Resident Commissioner for the Independent National Electoral Commission in Kano, Mikaila Abdulahi, has died. Mr. Mikaila, still oversaw last Saturday’s presidential and national assembly election in the state.  The late Minkaila and his family were hurried to the Murtala Mohammed specialist hospital where they died on Friday morning. He died early hours of this morning at his residence in a strange fire incident with his wife and two kids. Details of the incident are still very sketchy, but the police have also confirmed the death of the entire family.

A spokesperson of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Mallam Garba, confirmed the incident. As was reported earlier Nigeria’s presidential poll has been a watershed: the first time that the most populous African nation is has handed over power peacefully and democratically. Muhammadu Buhari, the APC candidate won the election fairly, according to election observers.

This is cruel an entire family......There is more to this than meet the eye. Investigation should be done on this properly.
