Police charge man for broadcasting Whatsapp message criticising Oshiomole

Police in Edo state have charged a 47year old man, Curtis Ugbo for broadcasting, on Tuesday, a Whatsapp message which criticised the governor of the state, Adams Oshiomole.

The Whatsapp message which has gotten Mr Ugbo in trouble with the law is "What is wrong with my boss, the ground breaking of Edo state own industry in partnership with a private company under government Public Private Partnership (PPP) and stake holders. No state House Members or Speaker and National Assembly members present. Notice".
It further goes to question if the State was now a personal business of the governor.

The police said the message was capable of disrupting peace in the society. Seriously?
