A scorned woman who claims she was 'duped' into marrying a billionaire with a secret wife has been told she must pay the tycoon £100,000 by the divorce courts. Mercy Ogbedo, 45, thought her dreams had come true in 2002 when she went through a picturesque marriage ceremony with Nigerian shipping magnate Moses Taiga. Daily mail reports that, her feet were washed by village elders and a 'bride price' was paid for her, before the couple drank from the same cup, danced and cut an exotic wedding cake.

Rape Rape Rape!!! Two Musicians Arraigned For Raping Dancer


Two performing artists are standing trial before an Ejigbo Magistrates’ Court sitting in Lagos State, western Nigeria, over an alleged rape and indecent assault on a female dancer. The two musicians, Ekene Uzor, 27, and Eni Daniel, 24, were arrested when the victim (name withheld) reported to the police that the suspects allegedly conspired to rape and blackmail her. The 20-year old victim alleged that the musicians lured her to Uzor’s residence at 10, Joel Ajeye Street, Ejigbo, Lagos, where she was forced to remove her clothes and suck their penises.

Diezani Madueke's sister rescued after 8 days in kidnapper's den


The sister of Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke, Osiya Agama has been rescued by police in Port Harcourt eight days after she was kidnapped. Mrs Agama was kidnapped by unknown gunmen on her way from an evening church on Tuesday October 21, at Leventis Bus-Stop along Port Harcourt-Aba Road, as she approached her car.  

Former UN General Secretary Kofi Annan Says Ebola Is A Poor Man’s Disease


In an interview with the CNN, former United Nations general secretary Kofi Annan blamed the vast spread and lack of action towards Ebola because it developed in the “poor” part of the world.
Kofi Annan said the best way to stop the virus was restricting it to West Africa, and solving it there.

Update on The man that was allegedly shot by police in Delta state has died




Some days ago, I told you guys about a man, 25yr old Moses Onianwa (pictured), who worked with Oshimili North LGA, and was allegedly shot by policemen attached to Ibusa Police Station in Delta State during last Saturday's Local Government Area elections, unfortunately, he's passed. He died in the early hours of this morning October 30th at the FMC Hospital in Asaba.
