Celina was 22 when she fell in love with a married a man. They knew each other for years and kept a friendship with no feelings or strings attached. At first it was exciting and she wanted to be with him all the time. Despite knowing he was married they had great times together up and until she found out she was pregnant and at that time abortion was not an option. When she told him about the pregnancy his reactions made her laugh he told her straight away that it was over and he couldn't start a family with her since he had one already, she walked him out and said she can handle it on her own.
Little did she remember the whole debacle when his wife showed up at her door step, with her parents in the house, her father was speechless and her mother kept on crying? His wife started raining insults on her, how she was a whore and that she ruined her marriage and how she will pay for wrong doings.
Trust me she did, in her life she have never been so humiliated before everywhere she went she was tagged the home breaker, it became so bad she had to stay indoors throughout her pregnancy. She went back to work and church and trust me it was worst and home was her final option. When she gave birth, he was convinced it wasn’t his so he demanded a paternity test, more humiliation for me she felt like a whore who slept around.
Finally the test came back and he was the father. At that point she told herself she was tired of being the victim and it was time to wake up and carry on with her life while trying to pretend the last 9 months never happened.
The morale behind my story is simple
1. A married man will never leave his wife for i
2. A child born out of wedlock will never be accepted by his half family
3. The fact i have a child for him that does not mean he will take care of us.
4. My family will never get over this betrayal i am stigmatized for life.
5. I struggle to have a decent relationship with other men because my past keeps staring i in face.
6. It doesn't matter if i am victim or if i participated willingly i will always be the one wrong.
