Technology makes cheating Easier




With the fast spread of awareness and exposure to social media, networks, smart phones a declaration was made that cheating on spouses and business associates has been made easier.
 The new network’s research reveals: 



1. Facebook was cited as the reason for 1/3 of divorces in 2011

2. There’s been a huge spike in female membership among married women aged 30+ on UK ‘cheating websites’ since the 2012 ‘Fifty Shades/Mummy Porn’ phenomenon. 

3. I in 5 couples now meet online yet a third of all online daters admit they've lied when writing their profile

4. Up to 200,000 people in UK were caught in online dating scams in 2011 losing between £50 and £250,000 and a total of £8 million

The National Fraud Authority (2012) estimates that fraud costs in the UK equate to over R940 billion a year. Not all cheating ends in divorce. About 60 per cent of couples remain together following infidelity.
