The Pain Behind Beauty

Behind every beautiful thing, there's some kind of pain You caught me looking back again A reminder of where I've been Help me believe somehow, will You open my eyes Through fire, through the rain.
Counting losses I have gained, it’s a matter of time Till I see the beauty, the beauty in all the pain

INSPIRATION

Look up at the stars and not Down at your Feet!!!
Never give up work. Work gives you meaning and purpose and life is empty without it. If you are lucky enough to find love, remember it is there and don't throw it away.”

Tips on How to Wake the Passion in your marriage

Even the most loved-up couple has to accept that as time passes the initial heat of the “honeymoon period” will cool to a gentle simmer, unless a concerted effort is made to keep the flames leaping around.

Role playing is good and fantasizing about his donning shining Armour and showing up on a white steed can only be good for your libido. But wishful thinking and leaving it up to him to miraculously happen upon new and adventurous ways to rekindle those original thrills and delicious sensations that made you fall in love in the first place, is neither fair nor realistic.

So, as a red blooded woman who is contentedly hitched but longs for real fireworks, take the initiative and help turn your sensual wish-list into reality. After all, we live in an equal opportunity world and romance comes in all kinds of guises.

10 Tips for Daring Long Distance Love

Have the Talk
You should probably have a bit of a chat about this giant elephant of a commitment before you decide to do it. And once you do, establish how the whole operation is going to go down. Is the long distance permanent or temporary?

Trust that you aren't crazy:
OK, you are a little crazy, but not any more than usual.  They’ll be some crying and moments of weakness where you think that this whole deal totally s*cks and you'll find yourself with ice cream, in bed, weeping.

Hang out in your hood:
Wallowing in self pity while watching Love Actually can be cathartic but it’s probably not a great everyday occurrence.  The more active you are, the quicker the time goes.  So let your friends be your friends and pack away those sweatpants.

Understanding Introverts

I consider myself an introvert. Well, more of an introverted extrovert, really.

I like people, I like being around them and, believe it or not, I love talking to them.

That said, while I do enjoy the company of others, I also have a social threshold that expires more quickly than that of a more outgoing person. In other words, I can play at being an extrovert for a little while, but following an outing, or a party (or any other social event), I find that I need to retreat into my hide-y hole for a while before I can venture out into the world again.

In most cases, nothing is wrong; however, the rest of the evening is usually spent trying to convince the uninhibited souls around me that I’m actually having a good time.

All you need to do is note the following:

CHRIS BROWN BACK IN COURT D.A. OUT FOR BLOOD

Wonders never ends It never Chris Brown is back in court today, where the L.A. County D.A. will argue the singer violated his probation in the Rihanna beating case by lying about his community service and he deserves to be thrown behind bars.

The D.A. believes Chris Brown's recent hit-and-run debacle is justification alone for the judge to throw the book at him, but since that case was dismissed Thursday we're told the D.A. will focus primarily on Chris' alleged community service lies.
